Anyone heard of digital only tickets for concerts /events?

i bought one and now cannot access it as i cannot download the specific app to my older cell phone.

i recall years ago when you got a paper ticket and everything seemed to work out fine , not everyone has a pricey modern apple iphone

tried to contact the venue but only got 1 brief reply and they seem uninterested in resolving the issue despite fact i already paid for the ticket

Haven’t used one. I’d contact the provider and tell them what happened. They should have another solution.

this venue has new owners and ever since they took over a year ago things have got worse. last year they'd have events the night before other events so the second one be half empty and prices have gone crazy , other concert this long weekend ( not one i'm going to ) tickets are $250 for 1 ticket , in the past , most tickets would of been was $100 max, for a group of 4 people it cost $1000 for tickets , who can afford that or expect friends group to pay such insane prices for 1 night out

and they want $15 for 1 can of tall boy beer or a cooler type drink, its $15 when you add tax and tip for 1 drink there
