This came up because, deep down, I miss the way things used to be.

I used to go to bible studies 3-4 times a week at the same church, and it was a great social experience, as well as cultural experience. Now I do not know if that situation is repeatable because I do not think it's safe to take the bus to people's homes anymore. The bible studies happened at a different houses every day, because people's homes were cheaper than rental buildings, and a home would have other advantages too, like a television screen, a set of computers, a series of guitars, comfortable leather couches, and a kitchen right next door for immediate food preparation or dietary customization, as well as liquid refills of different types.
