The world in general has become a “Throw a Way” society. So much stuff is made. With no way to recycle. So too much ends up being burnt, buried or dumped into the ocean! I think the biggest reduction in air pollution is from cleaning up steel production and electric generation. But the steel production was forced out of the country. To be manufactured in another country’s atmosphere!
That is how our little part of the world was saved! Now if only the pollution from the wildfires could be prevented!

Pollution is a problem, idc if it is less or more as long as we want to curb it and fight for the environment for the planet we collectively share.

Automotive Industry may have technological advances, though thanks to Obama Era climate change legislation every car is now a truck to secure tax relief to the Automotive Giants.
SUVs and big trucks are everywhere because of this. So now it is more pollutants in the air when the goal was less due to exhaust from gas power vehicles.

not only cars create pollution... so the problem stays, because electric cars create different pollution... like poisonous batteries and other parts of the car... and we have no technology to recycle them in the safe, for the environment, way
