I view the internet as a telephone operator, you can choose whether you want to dial the number of a helper or the number of destroyer, so you can use internet for beneficial purposes or you can use the internet for habits that are self-destructive and socially self-sabotaging. Just like church or any religious group, you can use the community for your benefit or you can use it for your self-destruction because many communities are capable both of building you up and of tearing you down, and it is question of which buttons you push and which buttons you do not push that determine whether it benefits you or destroys you, and what your motives are for going into that community.
A world of great discoveries and many trips or falls. A bit like the world we live in.
Amen 🙌🙏
Lol!
Thank you!

The Internet is a network of machines and people that make shared information possible, and one that borders on total chaos.

A source of knowledge that has brought much more awareness and ease of access to many subjects, real life events and insight, and much entertainment or enriching hobbyists, and freedom of expression.
It's also an escape, a outlet.
I'd say it's an equalizer to life, making life more bearable.
And most of all it's tool so it all depends how you use it.
the stupidest thing ever...
but also the most amazing, at times
pretty much the same as everything else in this life and world... lol
I think Bo Burnham described it best with the whole “Anything your brain can think of can be found/We’ve got mountains of content/Some better, some worse/If none of it’s of interest to you, you’d be the first” vibe
The internet is a train wreck…. We should look away but we can’t. And what it does to our psyche is horrific
A wonderful place for stimulating conversations and a rewarding way to swap ideas and thoughts over many topics.
This rule obviously doesn't apply to this website.
Or reddit
The cheaper the access the more idiots enter.
Everyone and every idiot can say anything. Too bad that most do...
Goods easier; information easier; communication harder.
A sh*tshow, and means for ‘big brother’ to spy on you? Not sure,
It's something that could be a very resourceful tool for everyone but unfortunately most people use it as a timekiller and nothing more
It is very useful but you have to limit your exposure.
Helpful at times and a pain in the ass other times
Critical infrastructure ✌️😁 as critical as hospitals and the air 🌬️🍃
It's always evolving
We are having a love/hate relationship.😎
The internet is a Wide Area Network (WAN)
The word Internet literally comes from the word Internetworking which is when you connect multiple Local Area Networks (LAN) to one another in a Wide Area Network (WAN) over a large geographic area.
A lot of rough with a few diamonds.
Not as much fun anymore.
