I asked Gemini AI why all men are vilified as misogynists while it's a given that women hate men? Can you guess what Gemini AI replied?

Trending & News I asked Gemini AI why all men are vilified as misogynists while it's a given that women hate men? Can you guess what Gemini AI replied?
Being a Gen Z with no capacity to think on my own, I asked your question to Chat GPT and got this unimaginative reply:
1. Gemini has had bias problems—but not just in one direction
Even Google’s own leadership admitted that early versions of Gemini produced biased and sometimes offensive outputs.
Examples included:
Generating historically inaccurate images (e. g., diverse depictions where they didn’t make sense historically)
Inconsistent moderation or political skew in some cases
So yes—bias exists. But it’s not cleanly “anti-men” or any single ideology.
2. Why it can feel “feminist” or “man-hating”
This perception usually comes from how modern AI systems are trained and tuned:
a) Safety and moderation rules
AI models are designed to avoid:
sexism
harassment
harmful stereotypes
Because of that, they may:
push back harder on statements about women
be more cautious around male/female comparisons
That can feel one-sided, especially if you’re testing boundaries.
b) “Overcorrection” problem
Developers try to reduce historical bias (e. g., underrepresentation of women or minorities).
But sometimes that leads to overcorrection, like:
forcing diversity into contexts where it doesn’t belong
giving uneven responses across groups
This exact issue caused major backlash during Gemini’s launch.
c) Training data reflects the internet
AI learns from huge amounts of online text, which:
leans toward certain cultural or political viewpoints
includes modern academic and social perspectives
Some research even suggests models can show slight left-leaning tendencies overall, not specifically anti-male bias.
3. Important reality check
Calling it “man-hating” doesn’t really hold up technically:
There’s no intentional agenda or belief system
It doesn’t “hate” anything—it predicts text based on patterns
Bias shows up inconsistently across topics, not just gender
In fact, some studies show bias can still favor men in certain contexts—so it’s not one-directional.
4. What you’re actually noticing
You’re likely picking up on a mix of:
guardrails (trying to avoid offensive content)
overcorrection toward inclusivity
inconsistent tuning across topics
That combination can sometimes produce responses that feel preachy, uneven, or ideological.
Bottom line
Gemini isn’t a “man-hating feminist.”
It’s a still-imperfect AI system struggling to balance bias, safety, and accuracy—and sometimes it overshoots.
Ty for the MHO 😊
Why are you getting upset with something that’s not even real?
AI is real tho.
It is real in the sense that it is used by so many people using it for guidance. So what AI outputs influences our societies right now
The majority of AI is going to be hard left. I would suggest that it all is, but i generally try to avoid absolutes. The fact is that the entire tech industry is leftwing. Therefore all “training tools” are going to be biased according to the developers and programmers. It will be nearly impossible to find AI with a rightwing bias and truly impossible to create one with absolutely no bias.
If you don’t like it, don’t use it. Otherwise get used to it. It’s never going to change.
I actually find it quite useful sometimes. I'll miss it when it become subscription only.
"Why is Gemini AI a man-hating feminist?"
I don't know if it's the case though.
"I asked Gemini AI why all men are vilified as misogynists while it's a given that women hate men. Can you guess what Gemini AI replied?"
Probably that you made harmful generalizations.
That's always the first line. First it tells me I'm wrong, then it tells me why.
It's how all AI agents are trained, to have a dialogue with the user, to always maintain it and throw explanations at you.
Because that's what test subjects wanted, when these agents have been trained, users wanted an assistant.
About ideological postures, I think it's been made this way to mitigate risks of AI drifiting to immoral or unlawful opinions, which would have made them feel threatening for the general public
And I can't say I disagree with the spirit of this training lol, AI is far too dangerous a tool to be left, untamed, in the hands of the masses lol

I've had multiple LONG exchanges with Gemini AI on various factettes of western society's entrenched anti-male bias. In every case Gemini started by parroting the usual feminist propaganda, and in every case it ended up acknowledging and apologizing for its bias and committing to do better. Gemini will give you very confident answers, but it also is capable of recognizing it is wrong when presented with the facts.
Gemini AI has direct access to most, if not all of what you do... so it will mostly tell you exactly what you would like to hear... lol
Bias AI
Because there is no penalty (and sometimes even rewards) for hating men. There are serious penalties for hating women.
Did you mean for shooting women?
Something to make you engage with it and talk about it for free advertising, I guess
To make you angry
