So are you ready for one to be in your home?

I don’t think I’d feel comfortable sleeping at night with that thing running around and what it goes hay wire. Would I be able to shut it off. because I don’t want that thing standing there, staring at me when I’m in bed
I'm not sure. I think it could be nice to have for doing chores when you're always busy. I'm constantly on the go so I don't have much time to do chores except when I'm off. So it would be nice to have for me anyways.
That's very true. Didn't think of that. Maybe I would wait a while before getting one. See how the first set does and after 5 to 10 years of it being on the market with hardly any complications buy one.
You're welcome!
Not until I am convinced that it’s worth it , because they aren’t cheap whatsoever, so I have no desire to buy one , but if it was given to me then maybe lol

It's kind of funny that you say that because way back when I remember when we first got our TV and then I remember the day we got our color TV I remember the days of my parents went out and bought a car for us it's going to be robots
Japanese have the most real looking robots are you going to turn yours into a naughty robot
I think that's kind of funny you go to work you're all tired worn out you don't look like you sleep much last night I did it the next door neighbor was bopping his robot all night long I didn't sleep a week LOL
I probably won't have one even though you can buy them right now but they're not real enough for me yet LOL
HELLL NO! that thing gives me nightmares. It looks like something out of a Kubrick film. My husband likes retro robots, so he has a few. Like a Rob the robot for the NES. And this other robot from the 80s that you can program, and it will roll around. They are ok, but the more human they look, the more I want to scream and run XD
Yes, I want a cleaning bot I just don't think it will work as expected.
Transportation company bosses would toss their first born in Moloch oven for self driving trucks, billions have been invested in this field in last two decades and results are rather less satisfying. A cleaning bot would need to do even more complex tasks, so I think it just another bubble
If you can make a robot capable of performing a wide range of household tasks unsupervised at an affordable price price then it stands to reason they're going to replace a large percentage of the workforce long before they end up in homes. The question becomes if no one's working and sitting home all day how do you afford one or even need one.
Because everything becomes much cheaper due to robots doing the work. A house will be built by robots. The AC will be built by robots. The stamped metal for the AC will be made by robots. AI and robots will make work optional says the world’s first Trillionaire.

Already have one. And he can fry eggs pretty fast and make a quick burger and fries.
"industry analysts predict"
I still remember the predictions from back in 1999... lol
"You can kiss my ass, metal dick!!!"
- Farber, I, Robot
I thought that was Bender from Futurama. 🤔
Wrong perspective. Bender himself says „Bite my shiny metal ass!“.
Yeah why not? I don't have much need for one as I have de-complicated my life. Like buying year's worth of socks at one time so there is no need to match them after washing
If its Rosie from the Jetsons im in!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/1pphyvgd7-kNope! I wouldn't want to be around one of those at all. They are freaky to me.
A walking camera that connects to the cloud and is remote controlled by cheap labor? No thanks.
Yes, but she would have to look like a human, not a machine, and she would need excellent cooking skills.
Yes if she looks like this.

nah, I do not need a machine to take care of me.
That is not a thing that will happen in my house.
@Simslover92 Well, if they had a FEMALE humanoid robot. Maybe.
If they can clean while I am out, absolutely.
Yes, of course. That would be very interesting :D
Probably outside of my price range. I'd have died before they became affordable.
I think robots will keep in check us more than we ever will.
Not at all. The world is becoming so strange...
Nope, don't want one.
... I'm not ready for transhumanism either
That's what the EMP gun is for...
Not having it, I don’t even have a Roomba.
Nope. I will pass on that.
I'd rather have a smelly cat.
No thanks. Those look creepy as fuck
