What has lost its appeal for you on social media over time?

I think the initial aspect of reconnecting w everyone was cool... Then you realize you didn't stay in touch for a reason. Posting your own stuff was cool, but then you realized the people you really care about you had already sent them photos of it anyway. Then the ads came in, the algorithms showed shit you didn't wanna see, or at least not daily... I could go on... What about you?

I guess I miss like when facebook first was around when I was a teen it was super fun and funny posting to friends saying dumb shit or doing dumb videos together but then when like parents and other family joined they always were judging or telling me what I shouldn't post.. or didn't get my jokes and took it serious. It's like they ruined what it was. So I basically stopped really using that.. Same as instagram I would have it open for my friends but then other family and shit would find it. So I just made a different one for me to just chill on privately and one for family lol. Plus now if you blaze someone or have a different opinion than them they start trying to stalk you or doxx you to crazy levels and it's just like wtf? you fucking weirdos lol. The internet has become deranged and only getting worse by the day, it used to be fun but now everyone is always trying to push their opinion onto you like they are right even when they are completely wrong so now I just have fun by being mean to people I find dumb until they give up or block me, cuz fuck these dumb cunts lol.

I quit it when it started to feel too much like work. Having to manage 75,000-plus followers on Instagram, along with constant messages on other platforms, became more trouble than it was worth. I quit them all on the same day, and it was a total relief.

You move onto different platforms until you find one you like, and has a crowd you enjoy interacting with.

If you just sit around expecting things to happen, then the algorithm is going to decide for you.
