How do you take technology advancing these days?

As I get older. I'm almost 31 and I feel like things are getting harder and harder time understand even though I born just before the internet. I was only 4 when it started becoming mainstream and used more and more vastly. AOL was the first and only provider.

I am an anti tech person as to me, it brings nothing positive at all. People lived happier before the internet and before all those gizmos that are supposed to facilitate life but that actually robbing them from their identities.

When the world was still a good place to live in, people were still able to do simple math without the need of a computer to assist them with finding out how much 2 and 3 adds up to. Humans needed to use their brains while now, those brains are mostly fried or mushed and brain washed.

If the US decides to use electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons, then nothing works anymore and people are lost. It is not a question of whether that government will use it but when they will try to alienate other nations through technology.
