Well I know iPhone isn't because every time a case comes up the government has to fight for years to get access to a phone and they never, ever let them have it. There was one just recently in Texas where a guy refused to give his phone password to police during a traffic stop (why should you have to anyway? They can't get the thoughts that are in your head so why should they be allowed to get the information in your phone just because you have it with you?), they threatened Apple with everything under the sun for 2 years and Apple refused saying they don't even have access to that information, and if they did, they would never release it without the owner's permission.

That’s a good example. Let me share one, too. A friend and I were chatting and mentioned two specific names; when I checked social media, videos featuring those two names popped up. I saw those videos within just 30 seconds of mentioning them—and I hadn't even watched videos about those people before. I don't think it was the algorithm; I believe they were actually listening to us. In this scenario, is it the government listening, or Apple? Or is it social media? If social media is listening, how does Apple allow that? I’m confused.

Anyways - look it is what it is. The world is a corporation Mr Beale quote or similarly "the world is run by governments and laws and regulations" - so to a large degree, governments and parliament's and legislatures and congresses make the laws and rules ; hell, do countries spies spy on every normal persons shopping list or complaining about soap opera television, who knows. shrug. Anyways what else is on TV. 📺 👀📱

Basically every government on earth has spy agencies and whether they spy on everyone or everything, hell ordinary people are just focused on eat sleep work play. That's my day to day - eat sleep work play repeat 🔁
