Do dating apps actually work for most men, or only a small minority?

The statistics show that most dating apps are at least 60% men, and 2% of men get connected with a woman, and of those 2%, 10% of the men get 60% of those 2%. Whereas women get connected 49% of the time. Men's pictures are the the thing that works to get the women to swipe right, not your profile. These are stats, not from me, but from research sites.

Depends what you mean by "work". Dating apps do not do what they're DESIRED to do do for man or woman, Fat or thin, good looking or ugly. Most people that use them by both genders are terrible people. So even if you are a good person, odds are the person on the other ends won't be. That's just reality. Not exactly a recipes for a rousing success. But you can have nominal success. Now a lot of that will be up to you and your patience. The best advice i can give a guy is maintaining detatchment is paramount. Because if you're too focused on it you're going to burn yourself out. Because looking for a good person online is like looking for alien life. It's rare! Even if you find that person the timing is most likely going to be bad. She's not going to be interested even if you are. And by the time she is, you won't be. That's just how these things work.

so if you do the math, 1 out of 800 swipes will give a response, so you have to swipe 24,000 times before you get one woman that will give you a response that will go longer than 4 interactions. The possibility of the average guy meeting a woman is one out of 24,000 swipes. Those are numbers from the facts. This is what the research shows.

Of course they don't if you go about it that way. They work nominally for me (like i said). But i'm certain i'm doing things VERY DIFFERENT from you. I NEVER message ANY woman first. The cannot rejec5 you if you never give then the opportunity to. And i have no problem with rejection. Just rejection from some woman i knew never had any intention of considering me.

Sites are designed to keep bringing you back. If they worked too well, they’d have zero traffic, thus bringing in zero income. And what’s a business if it brings zero income. But you have to be a top tier male to get hundreds of matches weekly or even daily for some men.

No but that's the way society is meant to be, most of the population was enslaved or died before they reached breeding age

I've never heard this perspective before, this doesn't account for the 49% success rate for the women compared to the 2% success rate for men, to which 10% of the men get 60% of that 2%

Average men didn't see women of wealth before the likes of lady Chatterley's Lover barely 100 years ago
