Hello, I'm back! :)

Hey everyone I was in India for 6 weeks and in Doha, Qatar for 1 day because of a missed flight. But now I'm back home and wanted to say hi :)

I spent most of the time in Delhi because travelling is not easy in India. I got some clothes tailored and also bought a lot from stores. I was wearing old clothes till they fell apart but now I decided to actually put some effort and money into how I look and it went really well. I bought a second suitcase to fit everything in.

We went to really good restaurants and had great food. Delhi is the city with the best and most diverse food I've been to. You can have Indian food at the highest level but also European or food from Korea Japan or China, there's even one restaurant that was founded by a Swiss guy we went there a few times too. But the food is very high quality and authentic when you eat at a non Indian restaurant which is not the same in some other Asian countries. So you can really have anything you want at a really high level if you look around a bit.

Outside of Delhi we went to the Sariska Tiger Reserve and I actually saw wild tigers up close and also many other cool animals there. Then we spent wo nights at a fort from the 14 hundreds that was converted to a hotel. Then we went to Agra to se Taj Mahal for one day and back to Delhi. We were considering Jaipur as well but it just was too much to fit in. Travelling to India was definitely more intense and more of a challenge than other vacations to very standard and safe travel destinations but I think I learned a lot and saw many things I wouldn't usually see and met many great and kind people.

I think it showed me very clearly how adaptable, tough and hard to kill we are. There's some people who say if western civilization collapsed we'd all perish because we've grown soft but I don't think that's true at all. In India you see so many people fighting for survival. Little kids selling peanuts on the street trying to make a living they talk like they've been doing this for 15 years already when they're only 10 years old. A kid at a red light doing gymnastic tricks to get money from the people in the cars. I think people would adapt very quickly to the loss of comforts and new people would provide things that people need if the old system collapsed. It might not be at the same level as before but we will figure it out.

I'm more concerned if the planet can handle us. The pollution, the garbage everywhere, etc. I think the environment is tougher than we give it credit for as well but seeing Delhi and India in general will definitely make you feel like something needs to be done.

At first it was overwhelming and stunning the amount of hectic activity, noise, the air pollution, the dryness of the air also my belly adapting to the food. I was sick and even had to go to the hospital for IV because I was dehydrated. But over time I got used to it. The digestion was the only thing that never fully adapted even when I wasn't having problems it was never normal.

The traffic in Delhi is honestly amazing it's almost like a roller coaster ride. It's a fun adventure every time you go somewhere.

I'm pretty exhausted atm because the trip back was crazy but I just wanted to say hi and here's a picture of a tiger I took. I'll share some more photos later
