Guy. Not only for the fact that most guys would look out for the girl, but also because he’d probably be way more chill to see the sights with. Some girls want you to take endless pictures of them for social media, whereas guys are more into living in the moment.

Depends. I would go traveling with a guy if I didn't mind him flirting with me etc. Since I know guy friends usually end up liking me. And it would be weird if a guy friend I didn't like tried flirting with me during the trip.

I would probably travel with a girl if I have a close relationship with her and I'm comfortable around her.

Now note: I'm making my statement based on typical-guy-culture attitudes vs typcial-girl-culture attitudes. Individuals vary, but in a vague question like, I have to assume the stereotype; I'm not picky about the sexual or gender traits of the person I'm travelling with.

Now, that said, going with a stereotypical guy vs girl, a guy isn't going to spend the whole time shopping and will do more actual sightseeing, and is more likely to do something ridiculously stupid yet fun that will make amusing memories for later.

I really don’t mind, I’ve travel with my gal friend before and I had a great time because we would talk about anything we would see or experience. When I’ve travel with guys, it’s fun because we always enjoy great conversations but there is always a physical distance between us which makes it ok.
