I can't hear it on the roof of the house, but if I notice it is raining, I go outside to my gazebo which has a tin roof on it. That is a wonderful sound, sometimes I even fall asleep while sitting there relaxing to it.

Not my roof, but my window and against my air conditioner. Sometimes I'll turn my fan off and just lay in bed listening.

yes. I always brings great comfort and I sleep better. Also is it me or do the blankets feel extra warm that night? And ofc it makes me thankful I have a roof over my head.

Nope I don't hear it. Although nowadays we live in the topmost floor but due to ceiling I guess it isn't audible.

I've never heard that. I live on the 5th floor of a 8 floor building so it's not possible.

Use your wifi. I run it through a sound system. Frequently it fools me entirely. "Is it raining?"
