I love window seat so I can see the views 🏔
- +1 y
You can't see out the window @boosterseat. I think the more appropriate place would be on your travel companions lap. That is how they do it with little kids. It saves on fare as well. Most airlines still consider that one fare and not two.
If you go check, you will see the rules for bringing a child or small adult (though I don't think the directly mention small adult) on most carriers websites.
Just make sure you are not in an emergency row where you would have to assist people off the plane in case of emergency. I am guessing you would be required to reach the emergency handle of the door.
If it is truly an emergency, you don't want to lose any time. Also, don't want people stepping on you because they couldn't see you. Might be appropriate to carry a whistle with you to warn others of their proximity to you. Happy flights!

@Blackcupcake Maybe he needs one of those kids leashes that you strap to him and then clip to yourself. Airports are big and scary.

What is your next question @bigpauly. Just want to be ready. I can start a draft of my opinion so it is perfect by the time you ask.

Look at this thread. 😂 and no backup again. All while #teamcakes grows stronger.
- +1 y
@PrettyPriya you got a woman being racist and misandrist against black men, and her question is featured. Are you going to let it sit there like you usually do or you gonna actually do something about it?
Why do I get so much hate because I date outside my race? ↗ - +1 y
@MaxRobespierre there absolutely no reason for you to be disrespectful here, @PrettyPriya works hard and long to make sure this place is safe and welcoming for everyone and if she missed anything, it’s because she was busy taking care of a mess somewhere else on GaG.
- +1 y
@bigpauly awww is this the first time we’re team working? hahaha

I don't take kindly to the disrespectful comment and tone. You haven't the slightest clue what it is like to be a moderator and being pulled in a hundred directions. I cannot possibly review every post or even see every one.
I reviewed the question. It does not violate any terms of service or rules of the site. Just what do you believe it is violating might I ask. I also do way more than you think. So, that is unfair to assume that I do not help the site. - +1 y
This was quite a saga! Hahahahaha

Superb Opinion. Pauly might as well just get it over with and give me MHO so he can get more Xper when it is inevitably a SO choice.

As it happens, I had two 'domestic' flights during the last two days.
The only ''window seat'' that I'm interested in would be in a single seater or in a 2-seater.
All other flights: give me an agreeable seat-neighbour, and I don't care to ''sit'' anywhere.
14 Reply- +1 y
Yes I did :D - noisy people; armrest thieves :D; boring conversation initiators; toilet huggers; fat people (requiring some of my own seating space); ...
as just some examples. - +1 y
yes 😎
328 opinions shared on Travel topic. I prefer an aisle seat for legs but I really prefer the cheapest seat I can find even if stuck by a person who needs 2 seats… unless 20-24 hour flight. Fortunately, never has the oversized for seat passenger as neighbor on long flight.

I'm all about a window seat. Never in the middle. Though I can see the usefulness of being on the aisle, all that traffic up and down past me is annoying, and so is people climbing over me. Window seat eliminates both of these issues.
10 Reply I like a window seat where the window is back just a bit.
Then my shoulder fits in it.
I have a football player build, all upper body, so I take up a lot of space.
Otherwise I have to sit all scrunched up.
Which is not fun on any flight.10 Reply- +1 y
Aisle. I'm 6'3 and need to be able to stretch my legs. Having my knees crammed against the seat in front of me is no fun.
11 Reply 558 opinions shared on Travel topic. First or second row, starboard side, aisle seat on short flights, exit door window seat on longer flights.

Is there a reason for those choices. Curious is all. I don’t require much room. Pauly even less so.
Just never thought of a “strategy” for seating. - +1 y
@PrettyPriya I like being toward the front so I can get off fast, and the starboard side just feels better to me.

You will almost never find me on a plane alone. I will be more than happy to be seated anywhere as long as I have good company.

I prefer the window and luckily for me, my husband prefers the isle.

Yes, the stewardesses lap! Or, she can sit in my lap and we can just talk about the first thing that pops up!

Window for sure... the view never gets old for me.
10 Reply - +1 y
Window if alone. I end up in middle seat when with company because I usually sleep on the plane and hate having someone leaning over me.
10 Reply - +1 y
Yup, board early so I can get overhead bin space, put my bag several rows I front of my assigned seat (dick move, I know), and get an aisle seat.

@sirderpsalot123 Uh huh the first sounded more authentic.
Wing seat, where the emergency doors are as you have more legroom or first row isle seats for the same reason.
10 ReplyI've never been on a plane, but I'd definitely would not want to be anywhere near the window
