Aisle seat.
Middle seat.
Window seat.
I have no preference.
I’ve never been on a plane.

Aisle (long legs).
Towards the back is usually best. It's good right where the fuselage narrows, and there are fewer seats per row (it might go from 6 to 4), meaning you get quite a bit more space there than the row in front.
I've also been bumped up to business class a couple of times, by picking a seat right at the very back of the plane, because the flight attendants like to use those seats for their own personal belongings if the flight's not too busy.
My favourite is Business window seat.
the best seats though are middle seats towards the rear and within 4-5 rows of an exit.
The % thing on surviving a crash is towards rear and middle seats
@chrismaster69 If you pick a seat because you think the plane might crash, maybe you shouldn't be flying.
@AviatorTom I did a number of years working in Crash n Smash a colloquial name for aircraft recovery unit. I was also an avionics engineer in the RAF, I am more than happy not to fly, I do it fairly regularly, however I know what the bodies look like after than final stop.

I prefer window seats. Flying is boring as hell, so I look out the window for something to do. Also, I've traveled by ground extensively, so I like to figure out where I'm at from the air. Sometimes it's hard to tell because a lot of features disappear at that altitude.
Back when I traveled a lot on business, that was a standard question for our company travel agent. My answer went like this:
On a short domestic flight, aisle seat - it's quieter and I can get up without bothering anyone
On a long international flight, window seat - so I can sleep without being bothered by someone
Generally I like to sit on the inside it tends to be less windy than out on the wing lol.
I always get an aisle seat if I'm flying in cattle class which isn't often. I usually fly in first class as even the normal seats with extra legroom are never enough room for me, so with an aisle seat at least I can sit with my legs out on the aisle for lot of the flight.
I prefer the window seat. I hate having to get up frequently to let other people in and out of the bathroom. Unless the flight is over four hours. I probably won’t need to get up.
As for where on the plane. Unless there’s no choice to do so. I prefer first class. It costs more but it’s worth it. To avoid leg cramps.
I hate planes, ladders, rock or rope climbing, bridges, scaffolds... my feet are made for the earth beneath.. I have a flight coming up and im nervous af. I don't want to look out the damn window and i don't want to remember im in the air. Give me the aisle seat and also let me drown myself in my handheld devices to try to forget.
First Class, of course.
However, if I am not in First Class, an exit row. If the plane is not full and there is not assigned seating (like with Southwest Airlines), then the last row.
I hate flying honestly, it's a big fear I have!
I usually go by train, so I supposed I would probably take the same spot I take on the train - a window seat, so I can look outside.
More than once, and it wasn't as horrible before. But sometime in the last year I started to dread flying for some reason, and now the thought makes me shiver. I didn't have this fear beforehand.
If I could I would sit on the wing outside the plane however I’ll settle for a windows seat if it was a short flight & if it’s a long flight aisle so I can stretch my legs.
A party on the wing & I’m sure you will join me right?
That’s cheating, you can have the booze when the plane lands. You can be my wing girl.
Do you want to fly on the right wing or the left wing or tail wing?
I'm a window seat person. Less bother and I can take a nap without worry of being interrupted unnecessarily.
Window. I try to sleep through the flight, and that’s the only seat where I can lean against the wall.
window seat but even better if its the one by the door so i get some leg room too
Window seat so i can rest my head. Aisle seats provide too much room and middle seats dont provide enough room. I need a seat in the center section of the plane, away from the bathroom and away from the boarding door
I like window seats. I enjoy watching when we fly over land
I prefer the window, but it sucks if You have to use the bathroom
I try not to
Under three hours- window seat. On longer flights I want to sit on the isle so that I can stretch my legs a bit and get out of my seat without climbing over anyone else.
Aisle seat, just in front of the wing. That is the smoothest flight experience.
Yes.
That spot is the least bumpy of all seats on the plane.
Try it next time if you can. :-)
I always like a window seat towards the back of the plane.
While I'm tall and I should say aisle seat since you get more leg space, I always like window because I like knowing where I am in the sky. Even in the middle of the night crossing the Atlantic Ocean.
I'd prefer the rear seat. But pilots don't like me sitting there
Away from the bathroom.
I don't like planes. They look so ugly when they are flying in the sky.
