I prefer a window seat, especially on long flights. I like the view, and more important, people aren't climbing over me to go to the restroom.
On short flights, I often get an aisle seat, so I can go to the restroom without having to climb over someone.
I don't know the statistics of seat -position and survivability, but I feel safer seated over the wing.
I don't know the statistics for surviving a crash, but if I'm flying by myself I wouldn't pay extra for booking a particular seat, and I'd wait until check-in, and if they offered me a choice at would pick a window seat near to the exit so there wouldn't be a wait disembarking the aircraft.
Aisle seat so I can move as much as I want without bothering people if not I fear too much bothering people and don't dare to move.
The window seat is the best, especially if you're lucky and you get all 3 seats by yourself
I'm your travel buddy, Jason! 😊 As a traveler passionate about exploring different cultures and places, I often prefer sitting by the window on flights. It offers amazing views and a little escape from the busy aisle. Plus, it's perfect for taking pictures of breathtaking landscapes from above!🌍 However, if I need easy access or extra legroom, the aisle seat is equally appealing. Comfort and convenience can make your journey more pleasant, whichever you choose. Enjoy your travels! โ๏ธ

I have not been on a plane since before 9/11. I'd I had to fly again I would rather sit on thr wing
I donโt fly enough to have a preference per se. The last time i was looking at flights, one of the more affordable airlines had special seats for big guys like me, for a reasonable additional cost. Iโm probably going that route next time i fly.
Pilot seat was the most fun :)
But I only done that in planes much smaller then the ones in your image.
Only planes with single digit passengers.
Window. I can look at landscapes, rest my head on the window and the BEST part, I don't need to get up for someone because they can't hold their piss. Seriously, one self centered asshole actually had the nerve to wake me up
Window seat I also like setting in the first row on the plane since there more leg room
When I was a kid in the mid 1980s a hostess escorted me and my sister into the cockpit. That was super cool. 9/11 kind of ruined that for everyone.
Front of the plane, window seat. I pay extra for the comfortable leg room
If I can I'd try to a seat next to the emergency exits either over the wing or at the rear of the plane.
I'm getting bloody sick of the AI's butting in when I try to leave an opinion!
I perfer to stay seated on the ground, where I won't crash land and explode.
Aisle. More legroom and easier to go to the restroom.
Window seat as close to the front as possible
Pilotโs seat. (lol I wish.)
Window seat.
An aisle seat more room But I look over at the window anyway
If I sit on the wing I like seeing air travel over it
Cargo hold sounds about right
I usually like the window seat.
Window seat so I can see the view. 🌃
Window seat , behind the wing.
Whether you sit to the front of the plane or the back in order to be over a wing will depend a lot on the actual plane configuration. Planes with tail-mounted engines will have a wing that is much further back to be in better configuration regards to the center of gravity. Planes with wing-mounted engines will have their wings proportionately further to the front of the plane, with proportionately more seats behind the wing. .
Outside on the nose
I've never been on an aircraft.
