The Arctic is characterized by cold winters and cool summers. Its precipitation mostly comes in the form of snow and is low, with most of the area receiving less than 50 cm (20 in). High winds often stir up snow, creating the illusion of continuous snowfall. Average winter temperatures can go as low as −40 °C (−40 °F), and the coldest recorded temperature is approximately −68 °C (−90 °F). Coastal Arctic climates are moderated by oceanic influences, having generally warmer temperatures and heavier snowfalls than the colder and drier interior areas. The Arctic is affected by current global warming, leading to Arctic sea ice shrinkage, diminished ice in the Greenland ice sheet, and Arctic methane release as the permafrost thaws. The melting of Greenland's ice sheet is linked to polar amplification.
Sad it's melting, and love it.
I know I'm not a fan of snow, but that's only in places like cities and roadways, where I feel snow doesn't belong.
An example would be:
It's like having the sand of the beach 24/7 on your feet. Stopping cars, who knows, burning feet? lol Everyone just wants the sand when at the beach only, or in a desert.
I only love the arctic and its attributes, when it's only found there.. or Alaska.

And ice cold Coca-cola, just as God intended. :)

North of the Arctic Circle is one of the most barren places on earth. It’s basically a frozen desert. Eventually it will melt enough to enable trade routes that will rival if not almost completely replace the Panama Canal and turn some villages in Alaska, Russia, Canada and Greenland into large port cities.
I am indirectly contributing to its melting and hence I have nothing to say. It is following its natural course, I am trying to get on with my life. Both will end in no time sometime.
Every there looks like it would kill me so its basically a iced Australia-wanna-be latte and I dont think lattes but I might with that weather.
I would love to see it in person too, but just by looking at those pics I'm frozen haha and sad cause I know that they're melting...
"Too cold!"
However, I still wanna see & experience what it's like up there.

I like to see photos of it, but it’s not likely going to show up on my list of desired travel destinations.
Surprisingly beautiful... in a brutal, horribly uncomfortable sort of way.

The Artic is so beautiful and it's sad that it's melting.
I voted E. It would be cool to visit once in my life during the summer, but you won't catch me there during the winter, and I'm in no rush to get there
That and antarctic are both on my bucket list!!
Have been above the Arctic Circle in Alaska. Not far enough north for the year round snow. Love to go back!
I feel bad for them, they’re getting too warm
