Why is New York so popular for people who want to live there?

I understand its busy and social but they don't have big parks and gardens there like they do in Los Angeles and they don't have the dream lands they do in Orlando Florida or Keys West. I also think the animals and quietness of South Dakota is far superior to New York. And the landscape in Arizona is far more beautiful too. At least in Boston you can eat lobsters and see night life.

Most people that want to come here are stuck people in a slow environment like Florida or LA. In NYC, the traffic is terrible, but nobody waits beside someone; they just drive right past you when you take too long.

It's a more fast pace environment. College is free for residents, which is the only I am still here. I get to go to NYU for free once I am done with I am gone for good. No student loans or debt.

My cousin lives there and her business is in over 7 states and provinces so she flies all over but for some reason she prefers to spend most of her time in New York. Neither her family nor her boyfriend live there but that is her favourite place to live in out of the 7 places she lives in.

Central Park is nice. It has a lot of nice areas and broadway shows. I like that I do not have to drive a car, but they legalize weed, and now they are starting pot on the trains. So soon, taking the train won't be worth it anymore.

You make more than other states. Like my first job was 80k in cyber security. It's more expensive to live her, but I got a mitchell-lama coop building that is $800 rent per month. And I don't pay for gas or anything because driving is hell in NYC, so I just use the subway. I get taxed like crazy, but I've saved a lot of money over the years.

I've never been somebody who cared too much about shows or cultural things like operas and such. I like gardens and beaches a lot more. But the food in New York was amazing. I tried Chopt Salad. My cousin worked on Wall Street before quitting to launch her business so maybe she likes the friends and luxuries she found. Her father saved her university instructors life and he announced it to the entire school on her first day of class. Her father is a doctor.

We have botanical gardens here. And there is a lot of intelligent people that live here, but once they start a business or make it big, they usually move out because of the taxes. It's better to move your headquarters to texas.

My friend started making 70k a month trading forex, and he just left. You can meet a lot of cool people here. I understand why she likes hanging out with her friends. Even I dont want to leave because I met so many unique and successful people.

My cousin actually moved into a Texas mansion with her boyfriend but she said it’s because her boyfriend grew up there. She bought me $500 worth of food delivery when I turned 37. I had lobster and crab and Italian pasta and bubble tea.

The No. 1 reason would probably be for their career. New York City is the center of many industries, including finance and fashion to name just a couple.

Im not sure. I wouldn’t want to live there. Too noisy and busy. I’m from suburbs, a little less noisy but still has a sense of community around

Ny sucks, the city smells and is dirty, traffic sucks, people can't drive. Everyone is in a rush. People are rude. I can't wait to leave here
