Anyone ever been on a cruise and if so what was your favorite part?

I like the relaxation you have once your settled in, we always have a drinks package and the fact that if you don't like a night in a club or want to move you just pick up your drink and go to another part, alas, if I want to go to a show and my husband don't I just go because its safe,
Being residents of Florida, losing has been our favorite mode of vacations.
New hassle of driving, no hassle of thinking where to go next. no hassle of finding restaurants. No hassle of even thinking what to do next because everything is happening on the ship.
If you want to party party all night and just walk back "home".
Incredible personal service in your staterooms.
It is like you wake up and your hotel has moved to another place, another city, often another country.
The only thing I don't like on cruises, is the last day when you leaving the ship. Height of depression sets in as you come back to reality.
One more very important thing. Being offline and disconnected from the world. We never take data service on the ship.
by the way, BIG typo detected. "cruising"... not "losing"... Fuckin speech to text problems...
While in the Navy I went on MANY cruises, and the two best parts were visiting many countries I would otherwise never see, and after that, returning to my family. Recommend that highly to anyone wanting to get paid to go on interesting cruises.
Been on many with my family. I love the comedy shows and the musical Broadway type shows. The Pina Coladas are to die for. Meeting new people. Lounging by the pool. Doing some of the fun activities they have. Going to different ports!!! So much!! I hope you are having a fabulous time! Also the fruit tarts are amazing!

Been on about 10 altogether. Love the ocean, and I have my sea-legs so a little rock'n is no big deal.
I like the excursions on the different islands that let you explore what they have to offer. Kind of nice seeing some different scenery than the same resort the entire trip.
I've been on many cruises... but not the kind people actually like to go on. Ports were for finding hookers and getting drunk. Underway meant no sleep and torturous busy bee work until the next port. Join the Navy they said... you'll get to see the world they said.
I never have, and never will. I don't even get the point. So now I'm on a boat with a population greater than many towns.
Holy crap, they have food!
Holy crap, they have booze!
Holy crap, they have a pool!
Holy crap, why did I do this?
I want to go by plane and fly at 500 mph. I want to go to Mexico and meet the locals.
I want to show off the four Spanish words I know. But a smile is a universal language.
I like them, and have been on quite a few.
They are low effort once you get there, you go to different places and do not have to keep packing and unpacking.
Many ships have great amenities now.
The last ship we were on had water slides and a go cart track, amongst other things.
Great food and entertainment.
In the days before Covid I went on a murder mystery cruise which was really interesting & a lot of fun.
My favourite part was the beauty of the ship and the reading room. To drink a latte while reading a book and looking at the ocean outside while chatting with professional authors who ride the ship with you, my definition of a good time.
Gosh... You lucky devil... Where was my invite? 😉😂
I haven’t yet, but already have one scheduled for my birthday this year.
What do you like about yours so far and what are you looking forward to? Looks like fun 🤗
The food choices, the stops, the shows, captain dinner… I really enjoyed it all. I just struggle with anxiety and didn’t like how there is so many people on board during dinner time ect… but it was relaxing. Loved seeing the stars.
Watching all the drunk morons do drunk more on things (like hit on every woman then can find, try and jump into the pool from the next deck up and miss, fight security, get into arguments of who gets to go after which drunk chick).
Ps I worked on a cruise ship for nearly 6 years. Saw this every night
Aside from the beaches and new places I've never been, it's definitely the people watching. That's what my husband and I did the most of whenever we were on a sea day.
Free food, it was good and swimming with dolphins.
Other than that, getting off the boat from being trapped there with so many NYers.
The view and the shows and the free food! And you can dance and swim if you wanted to as well!
I’ve only been on one cruise and I loved itttt.
I went from Boston to Bermuda. I loved every part of it tbh
I like how you can get food whenever you want and you never have to drive anywhere and the island Hopping is nice., all kinds of activities going on too
Lounging by the pool, enjoying the shows dinner
The food was my favorite part because I wasn’t interested in doing anything else.
Different destinations almost daily and if I like what I see I go back for longer. Good food and free drinks
The midnight buffet of course.
I'm SO JEALOUS! I would LOVE to take cruise!
Food, drinks, destinations.
