Around the world, there are many ancient trackways that are still in used today. Some have been overlaid with modern surfaces but many remain untouched apart from the ravages of time and the hikers boot.
The pictures show a famous one in Wales called Sarn Helen. It's named after the Celtic princess Elen Lwy-ddawg - who was married to the emperor Magnus Maximus, it's believed it was she who persuaded her husband to build roads across the country so that his soldiers could more easily defend it from attackers.
You will of course find many that date far older like The Port Way 1950-1700bc in Shropshire England which is a nice trek and one of my favourites.

there's this street in Mexico City called Tacuba street... and its original name is/was the "Tlacopan road" built by the Nahuatl people back in the 1300's... it was the Spaniards who changed the name to Tacuba because of the places it would lead to
I've also been to the lands of the South of Mexico where one of my best friends live and have lived, and some of those old roads and places that are deeper into some of the jungle, are supposed to be there since the Mayans, so... those do look pretty much the same as it was back then... clear them from time to time so the jungle doesn't hide it all

Since we're a comparatively young country, I don't know of any trails here that would qualify as ancient. We do have some trails that date back to the US Westward Expansion in the 1800s. In my area we have parts of the Santa Fe and Oregon Trails. There are some trails that were formerly railroad lines (like the Katy Trail), and some river landings from the 1800s where you can still see the ruts from wagon wheel tracks. In the Eastern/Northeastern US there are probably some trails from the colonial days, like around the Jamestown settlement in Virginia, and there are likely some in New England but I don't know of any offhand. We're babes compared to other parts of the world.
Indeed, most historic paths have been turned into highways (historic by American Standards anyway), from: --El Camino Real (US 101) --The Old Spanish Trail (much of what is now Interstate 15) --The California Trail (much of what is now Interstate 80 west of Salt Lake City), which is itself part of: --The Lincoln Highway (Interstate 80), which has also been called the Eisenhower Highway after President who signed the Interstate Highway Act into law. --The First National Road (US 40 from Atlantic City to Kansas City in the Eastern USA)
I’ve also walked in Greece, Athens and up in Sparta, also Italy, and other European countries. I regularly drive on a few Roman roads, Watling street, Ermine Street, Fens Causeway, Fosse Way, and walked the Via Devana, with the later being an 18th century name for a group of Roman roads that went from Colchester to Chester and connected a bunch of military camps. There is some thought that one its main purposes was for quick access to Anglesey (Mona, Ynys Mon) where they massacred the Druids at their main learning sanctuary.

Yes. I have walked Native American Indian trails in the East and the West of the US and through their old settlements. I have walked parts of old Roman roads in Italy. I have walked where ancient Athenians walked. I have walked the path that supposedly Christ walked during his crucifixion. I have walked two parts of the Great Wall in China, the first one was where many tourists go, the second was a more remote portion of the wall and was one of the best days of my life.
Not track way but lots of castle ruins. I lived in Germany and socialized a lot with people my age. I was 19 through 22 in the US Army. We could get class 6 Jack Daniel's for fairly cheap. We were gods in Germany for that. Jack Daniel's cost a couple days pay for Germans and they loved it. Celebrated birthdays and holidays together.
Not sure where you got those prices. I just checked and the standard bottle of JD is 19-20 €. Back in your days it was probably ~25 DM. Alcohol has always been fairly cheap in Germany.
@DryGermanGuy a half gallon of Jack was about 15 U. S. and in Germany the residents said it was over a hundred U. S. dollar equivalent. An oil can of Heineken was 5 Deutch Marks out of the vending machine on the street.
Galoise Blondes were in vending machines on the streets also but I didn't smoke. Do they still sell beer and cigarettes on the streets in vending machines? I was there when the wall came down.
Again, these prices sound like tourist traps or shops targeting gullible customers but they aren’t regular prices. A can of beer was as low as 0,75 DM, so the vending machine price would be at most 1,50 DM, or nobody would buy it. Yes, we still have all the typical vending machines.
@DryGermanGuy well I know for sure Heineken was 5 marks. Jack Daniel's was more than likely not readily available and why would I buy it on the German economy instead of Class 6 rations? My friends were the authority on that. They weren't trying to sell me anything but they sure loved us for bringing it.
Was this in the redlight district or something? The current price for a can of Heineken is 0,95 and the old Deutschmark prices in the 1990s would be half of that. I can also assure you that there was a bottle of Jack Daniels and/or Jim Beam at pretty much every teenager party I was at the time, it was nothing rare or exotic.
The thought of walking an ancient trackway brings back memories of stinky feet wrapped in moldy cheese. The air was as foul as the scent of skunk spray mixed with pungent body odor. I encountered smells akin to decomposing flesh and the overpowering stench of ammonia. The memory fills me with odorous dread, like a garbage disposal filled with spoiled fish and feces. 💩
