Whats the longest time you're flight has been delayed?

Several hours. In all the travelling that I've done, I've been fortunate in rarely having delays.

Longest was probably my first international flight returning home from the UK. As we taxied out to the runway, the fire alarm in the baggage hold went off. We were suddenly surrounded by fire trucks. The captain told us it was probably a false indication, but to be safe, we taxied to a far part of the airport. We deplaned, were bussed back to the terminal, and fed dinner. About 5 hours later, after they replaced the fire alarm system on the plane, we got back on and took off. I missed my connecting flight, spent the night in a hotel at airline expense, and took my flight home the next morning.

I don’t think I’ve ever had one. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad flying experience, period. All I hear is people bitching about air travel, but I think I’ve flown so few times in my life that I just haven’t run into trouble yet. A delay would be kinda cool though, I love hanging out at airport bars and talking with rando people, haha, I don’t get enough time in the airport for my liking😂

2 nights… Or does that count as being cancelled? It was either Philadelphia or Chicago. Traveling during winter can be such a bitch sometimes.

An entire day. I had to pay for a hotel room for the night.

Once my flight got postponed to the next day due to a malfunction. Another time there was a huge storm in Malaysia and most flights had to be diverted to another island I think the flight was also postponed until next day.

Something like 14-15 hours. At one point the straight up canceled the flight then booked me on another one at midnight the next day.
