Yess I live close by that area. I really have been wanting to take my kids on the boat tours there

  Now that I think of it, I think I HAVE heard that name before, but for some reason never bothered to look into it more. Maybe I thought it was part of the Fingerlakes. The Fingerlakes they advertise sometimes, but I don't think I've ever seen any content on the Thousand Islands

  The 1000 islands are about 2 hours 40 minutes from the finger lakes. I line in a city near th finger lakes.

  Most of the 1000 islands are on the Canada side bordering New York however I haven’t been on that side of the state or in Canada. I have been to Brooklyn, Long Island & Staten Island but not the 1000 island region.

  As long as your boat is moving, you can be on the Canadian side, no problem, but if you stop your boat, you have to church in with Canadian customs. You have to download an app to do that.

  The salad dressing was first made the. Get a map and look for Alexandria Bay on the St. Lawrence Rivsr in upstate New York. That is th 1000 island region.
