President Trump has been campaigning in New Hampshire for the last week. I used ot have a good friend that lived there and spent a lot of time there. I have not been back in years. It really is a beautiful state. There are nice lakes and mountains. Hiking and skiing are popular as well as snow mobiles. There are a couple of awesome beaches on the Atlantic ocean as well. Live Free Or Die. They don't cut you a lot of slack in New Hampshire.

We spent time in Boston, drove around Massachusetts, then drove up through New Hampshire to Stowe, VT. We made stops along the way in New Hampshire. Our timing was perfect for the fall colors. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
We stopped along the way at farms that had big fall displays with fruits, vegetables, preserves, home made crafts and antiques.
We went to a place that made fresh apple cider and had it coming out of spigots to sample as much as you wanted. I've never tasted such cold, crisp, delicious apple cider.
And we canoed on a lake that reflected the blue sky and fiery foliage on its mirror-smooth surface.
I had seen lots of photos of New England fall colors but had never experienced them in person. It was a bucket list item.
I told our innkeeper in Stowe that I wanted to live there and she said everyone who visited in the fall said that. Except they didn't know about the snow season, mud season, and bug season. LOL00 Reply

I go fishing up at Squam Lane several times a year👍 Beautiful country up there, and Squam is so much less built upon and disturbed than neighboring Winnipesaukee.
Only thing about NH is the women…. there’s a very specific type of chick from there that I can’t quite label, but she looks hot from a little ways away, but slightly…I don’t want to say redneck, but like…you know the Fox Racing snowmobile gear you see around? Like that vibe. And then you get closer and she looks a little meth’d out, she has snaggleteeth, and she definitely smokes Marlboro Reds😂😂😂

We have friends who moved there a while back and we visited them in the middle of summer. It really was beautiful, but seeing that local businesses have parking spaces designated for snow mobiles leads me to believe they get a LOT of snow. ⛄

Long time ago, my family took a road trip through New England. I think we stayed overnight in Littleton, a small town in central New Hampshire. I remember lots of trees.
