Badkhal Jheel, located near Faridabad in Haryana, is a once-thriving natural lake nestled in the Aravalli Hills. Camping near a lake in a forested area is one of the best ways to reconnect with nature. It offers a peaceful escape from city life and opens up a wide range of outdoor activities. Having done camping near places like Badkhal Lake (also known as Badkhal Jheel) in Haryana, I can share a few great activities that can make your experience more memorable:
Bonfire & Stargazing – After sunset, nothing beats sitting around a bonfire with friends, sharing stories, music, and enjoying the open night sky.
Trekking & Nature Walks – Forest trails around lakes often lead to beautiful views and hidden spots. The hills near Badkhal Lake are great for short treks and nature photography.
Bird Watching – If you're camping in a place like Badkhal Jheel, bring binoculars. The area attracts migratory birds during winter, offering an amazing birdwatching experience.
Cooking Outdoors – Try making simple meals over a campfire or portable stove. It adds a fun and rustic vibe to the trip.
Meditation or Yoga – Early mornings near a quiet lake are ideal for mindfulness or yoga sessions.
Fishing or Kayaking – If the lake allows, light fishing or paddle boating can be a peaceful activity.

Normal camping activities - hiking, enjoying the wonders of nature, eating fun food, having good drinks, building a camp fire, chatting, playing games, playing guitar and singing around the fire, looking at the starry sky, and going to your tent or to a beautiful, isolated place outdoors for sex.
But when near a lake, swimming and kayaking are fun. If it's an isolated area, you can skinny dip. Depending on the size of the lake and the available accommodations, you can rent a pontoon boat, jet ski, motor boat, water ski.01 Reply
1 ySitting around the fire chatting and joking with friends, made a golf course in the woods before, swimming, cooking food and marshmallows over the fire, walks in the woods, laying or playing in the sand, Volleyball, badminton, fishing, rowing around in a raft, horse shoes, axe throwing, chopping wood, fireworks, drinking, telling ghost stories, playing hide and seek, ATVing, water guns, reading, play cards, listen to music. Its so fun and time seems to go forever when you have friends and no one really uses electronics and actually spend time together.

1 yIn Florida we would go hiking and the guys would do some fishing. We'd also play cards at night and fight all the insects. I camped twice now that I live in WI and it was cold both times, so, we mainly spent all our time finding logs in the woods to keep the fire going lol

People who consume copious amounts of alcohol are a waste of space
1 yIdeally if this lake has a stream, creek, or river feeding it and emptying from it I tend to make use of that part of the water way by fishing it and hiking along it. Often for miles in either direction. Just part of my wandering nature. I had a weekend house near a large lake. With that lake I would mess around in my boat because it had the space to do so.

It has stream and its flowing water with fish in it too. I do swimming in it
1 yI don't camp any more. When I used to camp it was mostly just leisure. Hanging out. Making camp fires. Sitting around the fire talking - or passing a bottle or a joint. Maybe some short hikes, or in some locations long hikes. Maybe some fishing. Maybe playing music.
Mostly it's just passing time out in the wilderness.20 ReplyI used to go to a lake campsite that was 10 feet from the water. It was great to wake up and see the sunrise over the lake. Then turn around and look at my boat all ready to go out for a day on the water with my son. Eat a cold breakfast instead of re-lighting the fire or going out to a restaurant. Get the final check of the boat and take it to the ramp and ease it in and soon after, off we go. When we come back for lunch, drop anchor and swim into the campsite. After the sun goes down, start a campfire and chat a while as we look at the odd view of the trees reflecting the fire light. Fun times.

1 ySince i have never been camping and my imagination wasn't working for me. I looked it up on google.
"When camping in a forest near a lake, you can add a variety of activities, blending land and water experiences. These might include hiking, exploring nature, fishing, swimming, kayaking/canoeing, or geocaching, alongside campfire games and activities like stargazing. "

1 yMmm I like to find a semi private area, depending on who im camping with , there won't be a lot of laundry to do on our return. The hot sun just makes me want to be naked in it, and that usually makes me very horney
, I've also done some bdsm play , camping. Including once a few years ago when apparently someone saw my girlfriend tied to a free and called the state police.10 Reply
1 y@Kelly6 as long as the cough campers are far away from respectable folks respectable families - clearly many adult couples you see who go camping are clearly going to at some point, bang each other in the tent/RV or outside of it - or maybe all three including inside the 4WD

1 yTo me camping is a reduction to the necessary things of life only. No distractions.
I might look around and discover the place, though.
What is added from ''outside'' is:
defense against insects, fortifying the place against weather, cooling the beers, meditating about sanitary installations.
