Just on the basis of the way women are treated in both countries, I'd choose Peru. At least you have a mix there of women of many classes, and they are treated somewhat more respectfully there. Plus--I want to go to "El Toque Pez", a famous restaurant that has ceviche cooked by a famous chef there.

Mumbai can be overwhelming and it has pretty much obvious poverty with shanties spreading around them. It is also a fascinating place. Much to see if you are able to get around. Lima itself is not that great but Peru has plenty of interesting site around it, e, g. Macchu Pichu & surroundings. Be prepared to have luggage checked when returning from Lima as it has a lot of cocaine refining - or it did, it might be different now.

Lima. I've already been to Lima, but only to one area. I will choose Lima over Indian cities every time. I'm already familiar with Lima. It's just more pleasent and they also have hot girls and they like White American men and they share my dislike of Chineses.

Lima because I prefer South American over Indian food. That being said I wouldn´t say I´d never visit Mumbai either. I just prefer South America at the moment.
