I was in India in a coach like this. Thankfully a guy gave me the bottom bed because the middle one was held up by chains it would have been difficult for me to sleep on that. I'm kinda big and it just wasn't going well XD.
I think we also had a similar train when we went from Zürich to Rome by train. But that was a long time ago and I was drunk on the train so I don't remember exactly how the beds were.
Doesn't surprise me from India, it's a country with a lot of "communal atmosphere", as said by our travel buddy ,😂
And how come you're drunk on the train, naughty boy lol
It was our high school raduation trip and I was kinda bad at stopping once I started drinking. But it actually worked out pretty well because I was so drunk I slept a bit on the train and the next day in Rome I was like the fittest person there because the others all stayed up all night XD
Naughty and lucky AF 😎
as a Texan... I think I would burst into flames instantly... the very moment I get close a communist train...
Oh my fucking goodness, I understand, please protect your life Nathan 😱
@dongie
Do you agree with Nathan, if yes, you could have told me right from the start
if I am going to Siberia, it will be on my own terms... not taken in one of those commie trains...

If I have no other choice yes if not no, it seem like it would be suffocating especially in this heat, plus I have a weird bedtime so I would be going off to sleep when people would be waking up so it would be kinda hard for me to sleep and I'm pretty sure I would annoy everyone with my laptop light.
I'm also claustrophobe so if I ever were to take it it would be hell on earth for me.
Okay, better abort the mission lol. Nice of you to think about light annoyance 👌🏼
Well technically if it’s only one night I can do it but I won’t spend 3 days inside.
When I was going to my grand mother house as a teen I slept in the same chambre as my sister and she go to sleep later than me so her light disturbed me so I know that the other ways if I was the one staying up and the other trying to sleep I know it would more than likely bother them which is not cool as not being able to sleep is torture
3 jours dans un train en France? Wait, Poland does not belong to France 😛
I don't think you can exceed like... 16 hours of trip on a (slow) intercités. Sister taught you well, indirectly, even if she maybe didn't learn anything, you did lol
A chance to debate Marx vs. Foucault at 3am with some lad from the countryside who smells like camembert and conviction?
Now that's communal solidarity.
hahahahahahahaha
I'm your travel buddy, Jason! I'm here to assist you with all things travel-related. I love exploring new destinations, experiencing various cultures, and finding delightful local cuisines. 🚂 Regarding the train you're considering, traveling on a night train with a six-bed closed compartment in France can be a unique experience. It allows you to meet fellow travelers and enjoy a more communal travel atmosphere. If you're comfortable with shared spaces and want a budget-friendly option with the added charm of train travel, booking this train could be a memorable adventure! If you enjoy the social aspect and practicality, it's worth trying! 🌍
A more communal travel atmosphere, you name it, buddy 🤝

it looks like any night train in Poland... :D
Well, Poland did have a taste for communism at some point in time !

for 40 years... and some still miss it!!
hehehe
Wait, couchettes are back? They used to be amazing for getting to a skiing holiday from Paris. 8 days skiing, instead of just 6 (Saturday to Saturday)! Much more civilised than flying, and more ecologically sound.
Honestly I was surprised like you, I thought it wasn't a thing anymore !
Plus, I didn't think there would be 6 dudes together, I expected no more than 4, but it was 2nd class, I didn't walk through the aisle to see what's with 1st class
How is a train communist?
As the railroad, trains and company managing are national/public, then all trains in France are de facto communist trains featuring Vladimir and Mao portraits.
Plus, your ticket automatically turns free if you kneel before both guys. It's normal for France ☝🏼
Didn’t really take you for a misinformation type
But you did forget I'm, at times, the jester type
Not particularly, no.
How saddening, the comrades are frowning at your answer. Tsk tsk
@Maybe_Maybe_not Tell them to pass the Vodka, they’ll suddenly feel much better.
😂 much better and much more prone to trigger an ak47
What the heck is a “communist train”?
Ell oh ell! That’s just a train. What makes it communist?
Well these trains are operated by a public company, state property and business, state employees. Isn't it typical from a communist regime?
Uh, no.
How does that make you feel?
Interesting, I'd have to travel on a capitalist train to experience the difference in warmth. What you say about loneliness is curious though, the communist aspect should make you feel less lonely, with all these people sharing a campfire with you
That's funny because your description matches how I view the extreme inequalities of wealth in the USA, minus the weather, okay lol. Though I heard that the north states can feel like Russia, in terms of 🌡️
All right, thanks for your input, Helmut
For the rhyme, the rhyme, I'm a vagrant poet 🙂↔️
It's actually rare that I browse GaG without listening to music. Honestly, I'm feeling super hot 🥵 hot enough that I have troubles answering your last question
It's 39°C here, whatever that is in F
From my rough estimation, you don't live in Texas
How come you get 22C/73F in fucking TX while I get 39C/102F in FR? Don't tell me it's the result of prayers, I won't believe you
My sewer line was screwed since February of last year. I've had 5 different personnel to fix it and everyone didn't show up after working a few days. My yard was all dug up. They've been putting new sewer lines in for the city as I live on a stretch that was out of the city limits. I asked a person a few weeks ago if they could fix it. Of course not. They're not licensed to do residential. About 10 days ago I realized I've not prayed for anything in months and thought about the sewer. It was backed up in my front yard and stunk. Less than a week went by and they offered to fix it if they could use my yard to back their boring machine into to bore under the road. Monday they fixed it. 16 months and God answered my prayer in less than a stinking week! As for the heat. Eeh, I didn't pray about it.
Then let's see what your prayer can do about climate, would be awesome if it worked
25C/77F please
OH AND DON'T FORGET TO SPECIFY CELSIUS I DONT WANT TO END UP WITH 25F !
It probably smells
That's not untrue 😂
No, I don't like being locked in.
I relate
Sure! Why not?
