As a passenger, do you prefer to sit in the front or back of a car?

It depends on the vehicle, who’s driving, who else is riding and how long the trip is going to take.
I always sit in the back of ride share drivers’ cars. Except for once, and that felt weird.
I don’t really have a personal preference for front or back, but i’m tall and front generally offers more leg room. However, i will defer to others’ preferences based on whose car and/or who’s driving. For example, i don’t expect to sit in front if that puts the driver’s significant other in the back seat. I have friends who are a couple that insist i sit in front because i’m tall and that always feels weird.
More often than not, i drive myself separately to avoid some of these issues. I also don’t mind taking my car full of people because it gives me the driver’s seat and avoids the same issues.
When being a passanger, I always prefer the front seat. A better view in any case, the more that at the back, the view is hindered by the neck supports. Half a century ago, most front seates had no such neck supports, and thus a passanger at the back could still have a more or less satisfying look on the road.
Since I usually only ride with my sweetie and she has a truck so if I rode in the back it would be really cold this time of year.
Where do the famous people sit?
Not in the front... front is only the chauffeur.

You lose a lot of situational awareness by riding in the back. Riding in the front gives you the opportunity to hold a card up your sleeve.
(Even if the only card is blowing the driver, still it's better than nothing!)
I prefer to sit in the front passenger seat and bother the driver by being a back-seat driver.
Depends on the person driving. I'll sit in the front if I'm skeptical of the driver. I'll sit in the back if I know they're a good driver. There's more space in the back
It would be amazing if that was a 2026 car\nDid and you have to write in the back when it's snowing but it is what it is , I would still love to have that car model , A or model T
Front if I’m friends or family with the driver. Back if I don’t know them well
Julie knew her killer.
If I'm with friends I prefer front. Otherwise I'd prefer back.
I'm actually not the passenger type.
I'll drive myself - or I walk.
Fun fact - preferablu with two wheels "only"
I always sit in the front seat when it's available. I realize you're probably safer in the back but I prefer the view from the front seat and I sometimes chat with the driver.
Front. I get the best views and get to control the radio
The front. The view is better and I can talk with the driver more easily.
If I am in a vehicle I like to be driving. I am a lousy rider.
I take Uber a lot of places and I always try to sit in the back on the opposite side of the driver
That really depends on who is driving. If I'm fearing for my life, I'd rather sit in the back
I can't stand being a passenger but if I have to be, Im in the front seat
When younger I liked the front. Now I don't care at all.
Shotgun.
I'll do the back...
