Is it okay to wear pajamas on a plane?

I have nor been on a plane for 30 years so i never saw anyone wearing pajamas on plane. Now I guess people do it. Is it cool to do this?

Would you put your teeth in when you fly on a plane? If you answer, "yes", you have some self respect. If you answer, "no", you would wear pajamas on a plane. I'm not judging.

I've seen some black women wearing their pajamas and slippers to the grocery store several times before. They threw their coat over them but didn't tie or button it shut. Plus they were talking on the phone as they were shopping.🤷🏼‍♀️

I think that only certain people think that it's acceptable to wear their pj's in public as long as they are covered up.

The only reason I can think of that someone would wear them on an airplane ✈️ is because maybe they were sick and didn't give a flip 🙃 about it.

Sometimes I get very sick and have to go to the doctor and I wish I didn't have to change and get dressed because I was just too sick and didn't have the energy to change into my clothes.

There might have been a reason for it. Someone might have stolen their suitcase and all they had left were their pajamas they were wearing.

We just don't know some things 7.

When my daughter was in college she used to go to school in her pajamas all the time. She said all the kids did it.

All the kids do it nowadays. My school also have multiple PJ days! Urrggg… when I was in a new school… they told me I was dressing too nice.
I have a whole clothes of professional outfits… just collecting dust… because I can’t look like the administrators.
My kids love fashion and hate today’s tremd.
My son wants to wear jeans and button downs… (dress down for him)… he said he can’t because kids will laugh at him in HS.

@midnightmoon05 I worked for a K-12 school district as the Technology Director. Sometimes i had to do manual labor and could get pretty dirty so I just wore jeans and sweatshirts most of the time. The superintendent did not like this so he actually had written into my contract that I had to dress appropriately and administratively.

I prefer comfortable clothes for a long flight, but i wouldn’t stoop to pajamas. I would think very little of someone who would. When i see people wearing pajamas and slippers to the store, my first thought is “trash”.

every recommendation from frequently travelers and even airlines is to dress comfortably. planes are getting smaller. flying is getting more and more expensive. they've cut out frills. i don't see why as airlines cut service i shouldn't be able to arrive and fly in an appropriate outfit that is comfortable for me

that said i don't wear pj's when i fly. but i wouldn't have a problem with others wearing pjs

in my opinion no. When I was a kid we used to dress to impress bc when we got off the plane we were being picked up by relatives we hadn’t seen in a while. So even in jeans they were “our best” jeans. I still dress up for the airport bc I’m usually traveling for work or to a big event that requires that I don’t look like a hobo when I’m picked up. (For a long flight I *do* put my hair up so it’s neat when I get off the plane.)

Honestly no because every place have a dress code, last week i attend a funeral and a girl came here with huge cleavage not cleavage it's semi Naked breast and mostly people's straightly ask her for leave the place, so better be a wise person..

Jammies are ok to wear all winter when hibernating as much as possible. I even wear them out to the mailbox or our little local store sometimes. Planes are not okay.

There's nothing illegal about it but it's a bad idea. If you ever had to evacuate into the cold, are PJs what you really want to wear. Plus, planes are usually cold anyway.
