Statistically, the most dangerous places i’ve visited were Chicago and Los Angeles, but i wasn’t really on vacation. I did the occasional weekend trip to Chicago when i was younger, and one week long trip for work. It wasn’t nearly as bad then, but downtown was still pretty sketchy at night.
Similarly, i was only in L. A. a couple of times, only on the north side, during the day and only for a few hours.
So my experience in Canada, actually being attacked by a goose, was by far more dangerous. Ell oh ell!
I was just a kid, and i didn’t grow into the kind of man that sane people look to victimize. I haven’t felt threatened very many times as an adult.

In 1996 i visited Israel as a student. Two dangerous bus bombs that year, besides many others by palestinians. Palestinians deserve no land due to these methods.

Taiwan. We booked a discount tour group by bus for one week to save money and the tour guide did not update his bus wheels because he wanted to pocket more cash from the tour fees. I experienced the worst turbulence I ever experienced on a vehicle in my entire life and my parents were worried about injuries from the bus ride.

I felt the least safe in Barbados, so I will say Barbados. I guess it's gotten better now, but when I visited in 2015, it was one of the most dangerous islands and I found myself in many scary situations. I think I go off official statistics, some places were more dangerous, but nothing happened. So I will say Barbados, as it was my only destination where I felt I needed to constantly look over my shoulder.

I spent a week in Times Square in 1988. I don't think any laws were enforced there back then because it was wild.

We would step outside our hotel and walk less than a hundred yards and we'd see a couple dozen hookers, half a dozen pimps and were offered heroin 5 times all while walking past 10 cops. We stayed in a pretty sketchy hotel

Vacation. I wanted to see it. We cruised from Santiago Chile down their west coast, through the fjords and past glaciers to Patagonia. Then to Cape Horn, then the Drake Passage to the Antartica Peninsula which is where most of the wildlife in Antartica are located. Saw whales, penguins, sea birds, seals etc. Went to the Falklands, Argentina, Uruguay as well. I was gone close to a month. Ypu have to go in their summer which is our winter, so December and January.
