We moved here in 2019, and it has been wonderful. It took me at least a year to get used to the peaceful nature, low crime rates and the friendly people. After growing up in the USA, it was a culture shock at first.

It’s definitely safer than the USA. Social messes with people’s perception. You are much more likely to be attacked by another human than a non-human animal in any country really.
