Texas has a big, bold atmosphere that I really enjoy. The people are friendly, the food is amazing—especially barbecue and Tex-Mex—and each city feels different. Austin is creative and musical, Houston is diverse, Dallas feels modern, and small towns have that classic Southern charm. The wide-open skies and sense of space make it feel very free and laid-back 🚗🌵

Texas is a shithole of ignorance, sick religion, guns, hate, and racism. I was born in Fort Worth. My grandparents lived and died there. One of my sisters lived in Austin and died there. West Texas is a wasteland of dying forgotten small towns. There are no zoning laws. You can have a neighborhood of million+ dollar homes and right outside the gated community will be strip malls with a pawn shop, a payday loan business, a liquor store, and a strip club. They get super cell storms with hail and lightning and tornados. The coast gets hurricanes. It flash floods everywhere. 95% of the restaurants are chain places. The people are "bless your heart" phonies and most are dumber than a bag of rocks. And yeah, scorpions and the occasional rattlesnake are real things. I don't even go back for business these days. The only thing I miss is the BBQ, Chili, and my grandparents peach trees and blackberry vines.

Yes, I have been there before. It was for family vacations a couple of times. It is only really one state away from where I am from and the closest beachs along the gulf that we can easily and quickly drive to.

I enjoyed it. I don't remember too much about the first time. I was pretty young. The second time we went to Corpus Christi. They have lots of resorts there. It was a fantastic time. I would definitely go back there.

If you’re gonna go to Texas, you need to buy yourself a big 10 gallon cowboy🤠 hat, one black one and one white one for different occasions and you’re gonna have to have a Texas accent learn how to speak it
