Now, they say love has great blinding power.
Neither the world nor people are rational; rationality won't always help you understand much about either.
Feminism was much needed 100 years ago, and in some occasions even 50 years ago.
Like all cultural forces, even the useful and based, it turned into a deception-factory once there was no real need any more for it.
Cultural forces want to survive, like living organism.
Their "hands up, don't shoot" motto was a lie. They call for the murder of officers of the law. They loot and riot. If they want change, try acting more like MLK.
Actually, BLM held a peaceful protest in Dallas yesterday. They're getting the message.

The subject of black on black crime needs to brought up. Blacks are far more destructive to each other than other races are to them. That's why I can't take the BLM movement seriously.
Yea, that is a problem we are trying to fix as well. But being killed for no reason by the people who are supposed to serve and protect you, that's a different story. A man being killed by police in front of his girlfriend and four year old daughter while trying to pull out his license and registration (in other words following the cop's instructions) isn't supposed to happen. I feel so sorry for that four year old girl, who is probably scarred for life, and getting nightmares every night that isn't probably going to go away soon.
@helloitsmethere you responding with one sentence about black on black crime and a huge paragraph about one person getting killed is exactly what I'm talking about. What about the young woman that was murdered at the Raising Canes restaurant? She was murdered by a black man. But I guess her life doesn't matter.
@helloitsmethere no reason? I don't know about you but if I'm told by an officer to not move I'm going To obey. In a majority of the most recent deaths THAT did not happen. It irritates me when these actions are defended & people act amazed that someone was killed. Plain & simple LISTEN to the police & do what they ask !
@RespecttheBadge He DID listen, he was taking out his license and registration. He told the officer that he had a licensed gun when the officer found it. The officer assumed that he was going to take out the gun when really that wasn't the case.
@RespecttheBadge people like this are going to be forever victims. I'm sick of it. They won't even acknowledge black on black crime and how bad that is.
That isn't the point though. The issue at hand is in regards to the police killing black men. We know we are not perfect and we have areas of improvement like every other race. All we ask is that black lives are considered too. We all weep when we hear about other struggles in other counties, social groups etc and go as far to change our profile pictures for example to show we care. All we ask is for people to really leave us be, we want our voices heard like everyone else in the world. We are not doing any harm whatsoever.

Don't be so unintelligent. All crime is proportionate to race and neighborhood. Most crime, including murder, are committed by people of the same race. So that includes "white on white", "Asian on Asian", "Arab on Arab", "Russian on Russian", "Mexican on Mexican", and "black on black" because all crime is related to neighborhood and most people commit crimes where they feel familiar and where they know the escape routes. So considering the somewhat segregated housing climate of The United States where people of the same race tend to live together and cluster together, they end up committing crimes against one another. "Black on black crime" is the only time of INTRACAIAL CRIME *crime amongst members of the same race* that is qualified by race and given a name like "black on black crime".
When white people kill other white people, it is not called "white on white crime". That term is a racist, inaccurate specification typically used when people are covertly, subliminally claiming that black people just don't know how to behave. We should be using the term INTRARACIAL CRIME amongst black people. It's all apart of the racial construct that so many white people like to pretend doesn't exist.
By the way, if you truly in your heart can't "take the BLM movement seriously" and compare criminals to PUBLIC SERVANTS who vowed to PROTECT AND SERVE, then your humaneness is broken and you need to fix it.

@fhuey Well you notice there aren't any marches or no media for the kids that were shot at the night club. One difference... they were shot by blacks not white. So it is like I said. This incident proves what I was saying.
I sympathize with Black Lives Matter to some extent, given that African Americans have a higher likelihood of being targeted by the police. But I also believe that they're also getting out of hand and becoming too radical for me. Same thing with All Lives Matter, they're both evil: ALM works on arrogance, while BLM operates on malice.
A side note, I know a black guy who is considered a go-to guy by the police and they trust him, so go figure.

Of course it's not the "popular opinion" amongst young people. Young people don't tend to read into this stuff or care, they only claim to care. I'm not saying all of them don't care, I'm just saying a lot of them don't really seem to not care or be very educated on this. They only say they're really fed up with it cause they want to look tolerant. Well, guess what? You can be understanding of what the movement is talking about without agreeing with the movement. Yet, no one seems to get that. Also, if they're so "tolerant" then why are they always shutting down conservatives and libertarians for expressing their views on things? We live in a democracy people, that means you have to listen to people you don't agree with every so often. If that bothers you, then move to another country that isn't a democracy in any sense of the word. Cause even in Europe and Canada, there are comservatives that will speak their minds as well.

Very poignant article. I've noticed two things in these incidents of young black men losing their lives. 1st it seems a majority of them are not adhering to officer request/commands (not all but most) yet BLM still defends them as innocent. 2nd the media dramatizes the incident to no end -Im not saying it doesn't need to be addressed because it certainly does but the media goes out of their way for extra attention purposely stirring it up even further.

Are you really that sensitive and unintelligent that you genuinely translate "Black lives matter" as "Black lives matter more" or "Only black lives matter." ? Black people and all other sorts of races feel the need to chant this because the honest truth is that American police and American court systems have acted like black lives don't matter for centuries since they first got here.
