Firstly, I would have rather had anybody other than Donald Trump but you rarely get what you want in life.(Bernie Sanders). I am a democratic independent and I have accepted Donald Trump as President.
To explain, simply reading his 100 year plan was enough for me to feel at least a little comfort in America. His plan is plain and simple, far from the mess I thought it would be.
Firstly, I agree with his education act. Common core has proven to be not effective in the common school setting. In my experience, I have had trouble in almost every standardized test I have taken in school. Donald wants to give parents the choice to send students to any public, private or religious school they choose and make it more individualized for each student, hopefully increasing graduation rates. Then, he wants to lower the cost of two to four year colleges as well as implement vocational and technical education back into our education system.
To conclude, I have my doubts. Usually a politician's 100 day plan is a phony to fool the country into thinking things will be completed. Although, if Donald Trump can achieve what he plans and carry on the success Obama handed him then I think he can "Make America Great Again". That is, if he can mind his manners too.
