I can only imagine it is from heartbreak. It's one of the cruelest things life gives us to out live our children.

And then just kind of being okay with dying after such an event. There is such a thing as a will to live and it does make a difference in how we overcome health conditions.

She had a stroke planning her daughters funeral. Her daughter who she had at 23 and was mainly her only lifelong companion.

Johnny Cash past months after June. As did my great grandparents die close within the same year. My grandmother died within 6 months of being put in a retirement home. She had a garden and land she lived on. She wouldn't move in with any of the kids. She wouldn't leave her community.

There is such a thing as will to live and it makes or breaks outcomes in many situations.

@guy532 that's not actually possible to die that way. Nobody can just mentally tell themselves to die. The cause of death has to be something real.

Just to clarify, I'm not saying SHE died from it because I have no idea nor care on why she passed, just saying that it is possible to die from it. Why not look up the term I mentioned? It's all right there.

@guy532 there's no such thing as magically telling yourself to die from grief because the cause of death must have been something else (did they tell you correlation does not equal causation in your medical school/books?). I looked up the term and it is neither proved as a cause of death or written on a death certificate.

Whatever dude, I guess you know more about medicine than the entire medical community. Also, it's not that you tell yourself to die and ou do. It's a pathological heart condition which is brought upon by great emotional stress, usually due to the death of a loved one or a breakup (hence why it's commonly called broken heart syndrome). While rare, these pathological changes can lead to heart failure or ventricular wall rupture leading to death.

hahaha you're a special type of idiot. I've literally given you a medical article from a website that doctors use and read throught the day and rely on that has it written in plain black and white that you can in fact die from heartbreak and that it does happen to thousands of people a year. I've even met a fucking patient that was suffering from this condition, no he didn't die, but he was in critical condition. Also, that's the beautiful thing about science it doesn't matter what your opinion is, you're still wrong.

The cause of death is always real but the outcome is always different often times depending on will to live. I've buried many old relatives and he one thing we know is that if you move them off the farm or their home they die very quickly.

my legal practice defends doctors and I've seen many elderly patients pass away when it is either their time or from heart break.

I've also had many relatives die right after their spouse or after they were moved into retirement homes.

As a middle age person it may sound hard to believe but old folks have done the living they want to to and are happy to go into the big sky.
