Good news about global Warming Hell, aka Climate Change?

A lot of Climate Change activists see a living hell coming our way as CO2 rises and, for unknown, unproven reasons, it has increased about 100 parts per million since the 1950's. This has activated the prophets of doom to say OH MY G0D! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE IN 20, OR IS IT 10 OR IS IT 5 YEARS!!!

They talk of an imminent planetary holocaust caused by carbon dioxide emissions but ignores global greening, which is happening faster than climate change. The lushness pf plant life growing on the earth has gone up every year for at least 30 years. The evidence comes from the growth rate of plants and from satellite data that can be repeated experimentally, not by hockey-stick mathematical graphs and fudged temperature data.

World greening has affected everything from arctic tundra, coral reefs, plankton and tropical rain forests and is occurring especially in arid places like the Sahel region of Africa; separating the rain forest and Sahara Desert where desertification there has reversed. There should have been no surprise about this. Commercial greenhouses usually pump CO2 into the air to speed up the growth of plants. CO2 is plant food. Scientists have said that if CO2 increases to 400 PPM, world hunger would end (I add: except where tyrannical governments don't want hunger to end).

A noted scientist, Svante Arrhenius, first measured the greenhouse effect and said: By the influence of the increasing percentage of carbonic acid in the atmosphere, we may hope to enjoy ages with more equable and better climates. Enjoy the lush greenery of the current world and enjoy the fact that green vegetation is changing faster than global average temperatures.

So children, get your swimsuits on, put on your hiking boots and plant your garden or farm.
The fun is already beginning. And if you are worried about the ocean rising a bit, bear in mind that it was 200 plus feet deeper during the last (before ours now) interglacial period and ours will last a few thousand years longer. So buy your retirement home farther inland. And then look at the splendor of the produce department at Whole Foods.

Or maybe I have had too much coffee this morning.
