The sneezing one has been around a long time. It has nothing to do with the Corona virus. I think the facemask one has too, but I never saw it used, so I don't know if the eyes were always like that
The emojis came out before the coronavirus. When you blow your nose that’s the face you make. When you’re that sick your eyes can be sensitive to light therefore making you squint. It’s not that deep.
If they are, then that amounts to victimising a whole race of people because of something beyond the control of most of them and is in fact unfair and racist.
considering how the world is at the moment and how bad snowflakes are... and how political correctness is turning everything into a "you can't say or do that... that's racist or sexist or homophobic!" i dont think the poster is being racist i think she's making an observation, a logical conclusion based on how society is going
