A 9yo boy raped a 5yo girl, what do you think has caused the world to come to this point?

If you're wondering if you read 19 and 15 wrong then lemme tell you they didn't. It's actually a 9 year old boy, he's been arrested.

I'm sorry I can't translate the whole article into English as it was written in my native language, but it happened in my country and apparently it started out when the boy was playing with some other kids which included the 5 year old girl. At some point he alone took her to a nearby under construction site. The boy's family and lawyer say that this is a false accusation made by someone who has personal beef with them. (I don't believe anyone would come up with the idea of accusing a child of rape out of spite.)

He absolutely doesn't deserve to get away with what he's done if he really did it. But it raises an important question of where this generation is going with easy internet access. I wonder if he was a kid who was left with his parents' phone so he easily accessed porn. Even teenage boys act like shit because they want sex but have no idea how to get it.

This is not the first time I heard of children committing rape. I previously remember the news of a 14yo boy doing the same, instead his victim was a very elderly and sick woman, aka his grandma's age.

This is really disturbing, and I understand why it's unsettling to discuss it. We can't just not talk about it and let it worsen though!

If a 9yo is raping a girl it’s because he learned it from someone else. What I mean is that he has been sexually traumatized. In some way he has experienced a situation in which he was not in control. Someone made him do something sexual and he felt powerless to do anything about it. So when he saw someone who he felt he could regain that power, he took the opportunity and asserted power over them.
So really I feel sorry for him. Raping others is just about always about asserting power. The victim is having theirs taken away and the offender is temporarily asserting theirs.
In my opinion this is a product of our society’s need to subjugate other and feel higher than and more righteous than others. Equality for everyone is a good thing in our society. It elevates those who have been suppressed. However for those with power it means they lose their power. And those with power will do anything to keep that power.
This is most evident today in 2020. With BLM and the me too movement. The people that deny there is a problem are the ones that want things to stay the way they are because the power resides with them.

That's a very sad story. I'm very glad he got caught and that he's being punished for what he did. 5 years old is extremely young for that little girl to lose her innocence and I feel really bad for her. This is something that's not reversible.

Haha well all I see are accusations. You really need to include more details instead of just saying the kid raped her.

Besides false rape accusations are a thing. There was an old article where this journalist accused guys from a frat of raping someone.

The news immediately reported it as fact and later had to apologize when they found out it was a false claim.

Rape is serious so before pointing fingers and blaming people I think it's better to look at all the facts and details of what actually happened.

I don't think its even possible for him to get erection and he won't have testosterone pumping in his system to do shit like this or even think about it. I believe the kid was curious about opposite sex and he may have touched her improperly... which may account to sexual offence but I would not classify it as rape.
If he really did that he must have learned it from adults cuz a kid will not automatically learn names of porn sites and even then he won't be able to understand the procedure and concept of rape.

For the main question, I think we have actually improved in this regard. Rape and selling women out for marriage used to be the standard in the dark ages and such. Of course it's terrible, but I don't think things such as porn has caused an uprising in this behaviour, I actually think education is preventing a lot more of this from happening.

It is almost a guarantee that if he did do it he himself was also the victim of sexual abuse, and almost certainly from a female. 9 year old children don't normally consider sex as an option and people abuse the same gender as they, themselves were abused by.

the kids balls haven't even dropped yet, i dont think he can even get an erection, sounds to me like maybe the kid was curious and started touching the girl inappropriately which of course is rape but i dont think he had sex with the little girl or intentionally sexually assaulted her because he was horny, I don't know tho, this shit is new to me, I've heard of killer kids but not rapist kids because i dont think kids can get horny

I saw some forensic interviews on YouTube and there was one where two young boys murdered another boy... I can't remember the exact ages but they were like 5-7. And they were bullying him before hand for a long time. They also tried to get rid of the body and lied to police.

A nine year old can't be held accountable for his actions though... That's a tender age to assume the knowledge or discretion of what's right or wrong... It's his parents who are responsible and unless it's proven you can't assume that he's guilty..."someone won't just accuse a child out of spite" you don't know that... At 9 years old children learn from parents or a person they’ve seen or been exposed to. A 9 year old shouldn’t even know what sex is, the parents are absolutely to blame as well as the boy.
