Bill and I have mutual friends, people who I've lost track of but I heard a bit about the wedding and their relationship. My bet is that Bill is just finally sick of being told what to do. She changed him a lot, how he dresses, what he drives I think he's probably just old enough he no longer cares what the public thinks and wants to go back to his old ways, she's not having anything to do with it and that's that.

It’s possible he always wanted to divorce her but did not want to lose half his assets so he put up with the marriage until he could not take it anymore. I know a lot of unhappy guys who stay married for financial reasons or for the benefits of the children involved.
