He's White, so he might get found not guilty.
Also, he doesn't look like he could move a pencil across a page 114 times, let alone plunge a knife. But meth can make people do crazy things and he does look like he's been stealing some.
At his age and race, he's probably going to get 15 years at best if found guilty, and will be let out in about 10 years on good behaviour.24 Reply- +1 y
He is white and male so he is GUARANTEED to be found guilty.

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I also love the casual racism.

Yeah, the way these people see the world is baffling to me. It's like they live on a completely different planet. - +1 y

This might be extreme, but whatever.
Castrate the lad and since he could probably pass as a chick with a little make-up, doll him up and throw him in some backwater prison in a third-world country where the inmates haven't seen a girl in years. Then watch him get ass-raped 114 times by the prison folk and, after he's lying broken in a pool of his own tears with his asshole stretched wider than his mouth, then he may die. Or just leave him there. Whatever's cheaper for the tax-payer.00 Reply
+1 yObviously the death sentence. I'm kinda anti prison I prefer death sentence for murder. Prison is only for mild crimes where it's better to keep the criminal isolated from society for a while.
Murderers can't be rehabilitated into society.20 Reply
+1 yIn Africa, a murderer must die the same way as his victim but in America, let him get 100 years in prison without parole and the electric chair if he lives past 80 years.

+1 yWhen it comes to the judicial system, I prefer monetary punishments, to almost any sort of crime, because money pass from hand to hand, so it's easier to undo a "convicted innocent" scenario. And it doesn't rely on a prison system, where the prisoner starts living off from tax money, which innocent people pay, it doesn't sound fair to me.
Back to the question, since this guy is a minor, he doesn't have any money, and it's not fair to put that burden on his parents, so he would get a heavy debt to the victim's family to "repair" the damage. And he needs to be forced to do so, some kind of mechanism that forces him to pay the money should exist in my opinion.
If you just want the popular answer then "I just want him to be imprisoned for life and that's it".
I'm already anticipating the counter-arguments to my answer:
"I do not care about money, money will not undo what he did". Well, neither it will putting him in a cell, Tristyn Bailey is already gone.
"I do not care about money, I just want him to suffer in the most miserable way". Well, paying large amounts of money is not "harmless" to his well being, to say the least.

+1 yin my opinion no matter your age if you kill another person you should be treated like anyone else and anyone else depending on the state, of course, would get put to death or life in prison, in this case he is so much younger, life in prison should be good for him. that will be enough time for him to think about what he did.

20 ReplyPsychiatric treatment, his parents need counselling.
He should be Warned Hard to make his realise long term consequences of his behaviour over his personality so his over all life...22 ReplyIt's either a crime of "passion" or extreme cruelty.
But in my mind, if you lose your mind that hard, I don't see much of a difference.
So I'd say life in prison if the death penalty is off the question due to legality.
If it's in question, why not? 114 is a lot of times.00 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)+1 y114 times? HOLY SHIT!
He stabbed HER, I think they should stab HIM. But don't kill him. Just stab him enough, for him to feel the pain he caused HER. And don't send him to jail or anything. Just really mess him up and leave him with permanent injuries so he forever has to live with the damage of the same pain he inflicted on HER.10 ReplyHe is only 14 nevertheless stabbing a classmate 114 times I think he should be tried as an adult and face the needle.

+1 yThe same. Stab 114 times. The punishment should fit the crime.

Where do you see such punishment as available in the criminal codes?
- +1 y
C'mon... So you're ok with someone stabbing someone 114 times go to prison... live, watch TV, read books, go to college, see a psychologist, three meals and snacks, lift weights and God knows what other luxuries... while the person they killed doesn't get to live and fulfill their dreams and enjoy their love ones. Man, Please! Go somewhere with "criminal codes" Justice is blind... Justice covers the criminal and not the victim. Justice is not fair for all. You take a life, your life should be taken. The only mercy that should be given is for accidentally and one defending themselves. Just killing just to kill... Naw... Crazy my ass too plead. Yeah, they crazy, because no one in their right sane mind would kill someone just to kill someone. So, dead that argument.

Prison is no luxury place. My point is that all this bluster of "let's gouge their eyes out", or something similar gets tiring.
This kid will probably spend the rest of his life in jail, appropriately. The real question we should all be asking is "what made him this kind of monster"?

Opinion Owner+1 y@rienna888 you know what's screwed up about this case is a while back a massachusetts blond girl told some 18 year old guy to kill himself and he did and all she got was a slap on the wrist 5 years original sentence which she tried getting reduced but the first judge didn't (after little miss pretty cut her goldie locks hair and had short hair looking like the real witch she was) only to get early release and probation by another judge. if a guy had done that and the roles were reverses every single gender biased judge would had thrown the book at him. in fact there was a study actually where 500 federal judges were surveyed and 97 or 98% of them said they were gender biased in favor of women and harder on men. i'll have to look up the source of the article, but when i read it, it sickened the hell out of me.
