So he intentionally planned the deaths of these individuals in a procedural or step by step fashion? He knew what he was doing, prepared and planned it, and took actual actions and steps to fulfill it. Yes, it’s reasonable that he is facing prison time. You don’t know what these pedophiles have done nor their situations and conditions as well. They could’ve also been abused and have had some psychological trauma from their past experiences. The method of execution, a hammer, is also grotesque and cruel, and that should be taken into consideration.

He should only go to prison to understand his life cannot be centered around murder. In a way, he's ruining his own life while making others' lives (except the pedophiles') better. I think he should go for a couple years. He's going to get mentally worse if he doesn't.

However, his targets deserved every bit of pain.

Option D. Rehabilitative Justice is better than Punitive Justice. If you really want to protect the future of the society, rehabilitation is the answer. Just locking someone up doesn't fix the problem, just keeps it out of sight and out of mind, and beating or killing people out if vengeance just makes it worse.

The problem with vigilantes like this is that they are generally dumb as dirt. There was a guy in California who was arrested after killing two people listed on the public sex offender site. One was a convicted child molester, but the other was on the list for being convicted for having consensual sex with his 17 year old girlfriend - when he was 19. Do you think this guy deserved to die?

I understand him getting arrested, as he did break the law and murder people or beat people up, but at the same time, I do think the people he killed or beat up, got what they deserved, so at the very least, he should have a lesser sentence - it's kind of like beating someone up when they try to rob your house.

In Spain the other day I guy got acquitted from raping and getting his 14 year old step daughter pregnant, because he said he does not remember doing it, she raped him while he was drunk. It's not his job to take people's lives. This makes him a murderer regardless of what his victims have done. He clearly suffered some mental trauma that has numbed him to the thought of killing. He isn't a rational person.
