Guys, can we be deep, here? I’m not just asking for a simple "he was-" or "he wasn't-". DETAILS!

In a nutshell.. during the Kenosha riots last year, a 17 year old kid, Rittenhouse, shot 3 people and ended 2 of them. Charges were:
- First-degree reckless homicide, use of a dangerous weapon (Joseph Rosenbaum)
- First-degree recklessly endangering safety, use of a dangerous weapon (Richard McGinnis)
- First-degree intentional homicide, use of a dangerous weapon (Anthony Huber/Skateboard)
- Attempted first-degree intentional homicide, use of a dangerous weapon (Gaige Grosskreutz)
- First-degree recklessly endangering safety, use of a dangerous weapon (unknown man/kicking man)
- Possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 (dropped, possession was legal)
- Failure to comply with an emergency order from state or local government
... Rittenhouse's defense centered around him acting in "Self Defense". In every criminal trial, the defendant is innocent, and the burden of "proof of guilt" lies on the prosecution. In his trial, by jury found him not guilty of all charges and is a free man.

The details of the event is what people keep messing up to favor one opinion over another.

In the trial:

Testimony established that he drove himself (illegally no license, not his mom drove him) to Kenosha the night before the incident on Aug 24, from his home in Illinois, to work (he was a lifeguard) and stayed at his sister's boyfriend's (Dominick Black) house overnight.

Testimony established he did not have a weapon as he crossed state lines. The rifle was kept by Black's stepfather, Scott Dickhart who had taken the rifle out of the safe and stored it in the basement. The night of the incident, Aug 25, Rittenhouse retrieved the rifle from Dickhart's basement and with Black, proceeded to downtown Kenosha to protect a used car dealership that had been repeatedly vandalized the nights before.

Video evidence proved (1:48:38), that while at the Used Cars dealership, he was assaulted and later chased by Rosenbaum and Rittenhouse killed him in the presence of McGinnis.

Video evidence proved (1:50:12), after tumbling, an unknown man attempted to kick Rittenhouse after which Huber charged Rittenhouse with skateboard in hand. Huber was shot in the chest and died

Video evidence proved (1:50:19), while still sitting on the floor, Gaige Grosskreutz draws a pistol and charges Rittenhouse. Grosskreutz was shot in the bicep, and survived. Grosskreutz later testified that he did charge Rittenhouse and aimed his weapon at him before being shot.

Video evidence proved (1:51:38), Rittenhouse attempted to turn himself in and was turned away by police.

Not long after the shootings, Black drove Rittenhouse back home leaving Rittenhouse's car behind. On Aug 26th just before 1:30 am, Rittenhouse successfully turned himself in.

Testimonies:
- Prosecution's Witness, Richard McGinnis testified that Rosenbaum "lunged at" Rittenhouse in an attempt to assault Rittenhouse before the chase that led to his eventual death.
- Prosecution's Witness, Gaige Grosskreutz testified he had drawn his weapon and took aim at Rittenhouse before getting shot in the bicep.

- Coroner's report on the deaths corroborated Rittenhouse's account of the incident as did the video evidence.

Richard McGinnis is a videographer for The Daily Caller and was there with a partner to record the riots. Parts of their video captures are stitched into the main video evidence. After Rosenbaum was shot, McGinnis carried Rosenbaum off the property and took him to the hospital where he died from multiple gunshot wounds from Rittenhouse. McGinnis' partner captured it all while taking cover behind one of the cars at the Used Car dealership. That video was insane and I wouldn't recommend hunting that video down. Gory as fk.

BLM held a protest (riot). Rittenhouse went down to the area they were going to be protesting, as he lived 20 minutes away. He was supporting the people against Black Lives Matter and there to clean up graffiti and stuff earlier in the day.

During the night, three protesters, who were later revealed to be criminals with records including pedophilia, rape, and domestic abuse, approached him and tried to assault Rittenhouse. He ran away from the altercation and the three men chased him.

Rittenhouse was armed and pulled out an assault rifle he had on him and opened fire on the three men, killing two of them. (Two out of the three men were white.) He attacked them 100% in self defense because he ran away from the scene first, and did not initiate the conflict. The three felons initiated the conflict first, and it was implied they attacked him for his skin color, Rittenhouse being white and the BLM protest being in support of certain black people.

Rittenhouse was put on trial for killing two of the three men who assaulted him. The mainstream media tried to spin the story into being about politics and racism because the three men Rittenhouse shot were BLM protesters and the mainstream media is strongly BLM. The MSM even committed libel and slander, by accusing Rittenhouse of being a "white supremacist" merely because he was critical of BLM. Others asked why did he go down to the area with a loaded assault rifle and accused him of having premediated intentions to shoot people there. (These were later dismissed, as Rittenhouse fled first before shooting; if he intended to shoot them, he would've done so before running away.)

In short, a teenage boy shot three people in self defense, killing two of them, and the far-left have been trying to politicize this issue because the ones who were shot were in support of BLM, despite them being criminals who instigated a physical assault merely due to Rittenhouse's skin color and him being in opposition of BLM. Likewise, some people on the right have been politicizing the issue as well, in support of gun laws and free speech.

In reality, this shouldn't have been politicized, even if Rittenhouse was against BLM. The fact that this trial has been so heavily politicized is why it's so popular. People are taking sides like it's a sports game or something.

However, free of any political bias, the facts are, three men with criminal records tried to assault (and possibly kill) Rittenhouse and he shot them in self defense. And he was proven Not Guilty in court, which is the proper verdict against three men trying to kill you, regardless of politics.

Hopefully, that was as unbiased of a retelling as I can give you.

Men #1 started stalking and chasing Kyle and throwing items at him he become dangerous Kyle killed him ( self defense). This men was also trying to steal Kyle gun and shot him!!

Men #2 A 26 years old men out on nowhere started hitting Kyle with skateboard !! And chasing him trying to hit with a heavy skateboard it almost hit Kyle in the head but he safely self protected himself by shooting him.
Extra info: This 26 years old men had spent time in prison twice, first for violating probation after strangling his BROTHER and again for kicking / hitting / abusing his SISTER. He was a violent bipolar disorder.

Men #3 didn’t die but this is what happened:
An adult men who was ARMED with 2 -3 different types of GUNS started chasing and pointed at Kyle Rittenhouse to SHOT him. Lucky Kyle was able to save himself by shooting him back. Lucky Kyle safely saved himself in self defense.

Reading what he went through I was going to do the same thing. Don’t tell me you will tell your kid to just passively stay there if someone comes to your face with a gun and chases you? Plus them being child molesters etc etc
