Will's mouth is full of more BS than the dicks that have been in Jada's mouth.
He is such a joke and a failure of a man. I mean, any man with self-respect would NEVER let his wife sleep with other men, and then get dogged out by her on national television several times, including at the Oscars. I think he's mentally unstable, at this point. And if he wasn't rich (or black), his ass would've gotten locked up and Canceled by the same Hollywood vultures there to give him an award. I think the pussies at the Oscars are too afraid to strip him of his award cause it'd just give BLM a reason to resurface.
And ALL the people defending this literal cuckold disappoint me. You all are pathetic. Like I said several times now, if we want to go the route of being a violent society who physically attacks people for offending them, let me know now I'll be he first one to start Purging. You want another CHOP/CHAZ? Cause I'll agree to that if you do, but I have a feeling none of you will like it cause I play dirty. Like the "bring a hired militia to a gun fight" kind of dirty.
Seriously though, let me slap you red in the face since it's all "okay" to you. Your stupidity, childishness, and selfishness offends me. THIS is the kind of crap that makes me a misanthrope to begin with. "He was right to stick up to his cheating whore wife who doesn't respect him. Good on Will for slapping a 140 pound comedian who he knows wouldn't fight back! He's not mentally unstable at all!"
Seriously, I fucking society, at this point. I'm not even in a bad mood today or anything; people are just absolute fucking idiots nowadays.
Anyway, the TL;DR is: His apology was fake, he doesn't really care, and waiting like three days for him to be turned into a meme (yet again) by literally the entire internet (even me), doesn't mean a damn thing. He should've apologized while up on stage 45 minutes later.
And have you all forgotten about Ukraine yet? Cause you were all supposed to be distracted by this to forget about Ukraine. And the high gas prices. And COVID resurging.
"They'd have a gunfight after that! Somebody had to go!" 00 Reply

+1 yI think I am the only one about to say this; but; I think Will Smith's reaction was much less about Chris Rock and much more to do with emotional issues he has been having for years with his wife. I think it has all boiled over. I truly believe this. I believe he is extremely stressed by their marraige/dynamic. Everyone gets the feeling Jada does not value Will as much as Will values Jada. Will should have never smacked Chris Rock. I felt bad for Chris as he looked really embarassed. That being said, I DONT think the Academy should strip Will of his award. He has worked so many decades to get to this point and has never ever f*cked up before. What I think they SHOULD do is ban his presence from being at the award show for a certain number of years and emphasize that there will be consequences for assault.

+1 yI think Will has insecurity and mental issues due to not feeling like he's enough for his wife. So when Jada apologizes to Will (which will never happen), i dont believe his apology to Chris Rock. I mean i dont think Will meant to hurt him but he failed to standup for and impress his wife once again. He’ll never be enough in her eyes. And she's not a cheater because they agreed to an open relationship early on. But i do believe she doesn't respect him as a man. I also find him quite feminine. Overall, i see their relationship as toxic bt at the same time im on the oustide looking in

Yeah, definitely forgive him. I think for him, he just snapped and had enough. After months & probably years of being embarrassed by his wife’s actions, people talking so much trash about his marriage to Jada, all the jokes and memes all done over the internet & live TV; he had enough of people playing with him. And also too, Jada has a disease that causes her to be bald; so I’m sure Chris Rock didn’t know that when he made that joke. Joking around about people is normal, always happens. Joking about someone’s family or condition someone has in the same room, that’ll happen
11 ReplyAnybody that goes back and watches when people arrive onto the red carpet they have their picture taken in blah blah blah well when Will Smith and Jada walked onto the red carpet you can look at Will Smith's eyes and tell that he with irritated when you first got to that place I don't know what happened before you got there but he didn't look right and to be honest it's none of my business I think it was totally uncalled for but I think it was more than just a joke I think he was already irritated before he walked up and did what he did to Chris Rock
10 ReplyYes, I do as his apology seems really genuine. I was very disappointed, shocked and angry yesterday as I really liked him as an actor and as a person and even follow his YouTube channel. This is not what I expected from someone who knows that many fans are youngsters and kids. He should have thought twice before doing something like that in front of everyone at Oscar and on TV.
27 Reply- +1 y
I agree, and also he was well aware of where. This moment wasn’t caught on a cell phone as he’s coming out of a bar..
m +1 yIndeed, we do. That's why it's not a good thing to hold onto negative emotions after someone realized their mistake and even apologized. I agree that it would have been better if he apologized to Chris face to face but maybe Chris didn't want to see him or Will is too embarassed/ashamed to meet him in person.
m +1 yWhat I think about the whole incident. 😬
For all of you people that support Will Smith, would you still be supporting him if that were Wanda Sykes? ↗
+1 yFIRST TAKING THIS ENTIRE EVENT AT FACE VALUE HERE IS MY ANSWER:
If you are a Christian you have no other choice but to forgive him. I would indeed because the bible says that if you don't forgive, neither will you be forgiven.
As an Atheist, you can throw him under the bus without looking back... your choice :)
Now, all that being said here is this take.
The Oscars are in the tank. Ratings are at sewer levels because of all the debauchery that Hollywood is trying to force down the throats of the American people, and the mind control being utilized to do it.
This could have easily been staged and planned in advance as publicity and a way of boosting the ratings for future Oscar events.
At least that is up for consideration.211 Reply- +1 y
It's not so much the scripture as it is the history of it, and how somehow, someone somewhere is getting memos from God saying his law is no longer ironclad, but it's got to adapt for the times. Because nowhere in any version of a legitimate Bible do I see that God's "law" is just a guideline. If we followed the Bible as originally written, no woman anywhere would have any rights at all, and people would still be getting stoned for crimes. All the oldest texts put power only in the hands of the dominant race of males in any given origin of religion.
The timeline of religious texts all follows a pattern. Authority starts to lose control of citizenry, religion is introduced, the masses bow down en masse. It's literally brainwashing.
+1 yThe apology should be directly with Chris Rock.
Any public statement just given "to the world" is crap.
Who did he apologize to? Was it just some press release or twitter comment apologizing vaguely to no one specific.
Only a face to face or a one on one call to Chris will count. All others are just PR bullsheeet.11 Reply- +1 y
I agree I've said to others on this question I think will should apologize to Chris in person. And I still believe he will if he's true to his word. And maybe the issuing of the apology may be more financially motivated and what not. But given Will's full history I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that it is sincere.
+1 yHe only did it because he could lose his membership in the academy & could never be nominated again. He should have stuck to his initial response of finding the joke funny & telling Jada she should go handle her own inability to be amused by a joke at her expense herself. Not going up & slapping Rock. Plus he should've been escorted off the property for his behavior!
50 ReplyI've always been a fan of Will Smith and as far as acting goes I always will be.
But he's an idiot outside of that.
And so is anyone who belives that humor should be sensored or limited.
When someone is making a joke it's simply a joke, you can not like you but you cannot go after the person making it.
How many times are we gonna see this happen, be it Dave Chapelle or Chirs Rock or any other stand up comedian. They will say things for shits and giggles and that's where it should remain.00 ReplyI consider it all lip service... other wise referred to as "Bull Shit"! I do not forgive him, because there is nothing for me to forgive. I give two shits about it, because it doesn't effect me in the least.
But I guarantee you this, if I was a white man slapped Chris Rock I would be in jail for assault and rightfully so, so why is Will Smith be any different? So may levels of hypocrisy at play here... lol

I don’t care but at least someone in society is owning up to their behavior. Maybe chris should work better jokes rather than insulting peoples looks? He was right though she did look gi Jane and it wasn’t that insulting. Two sides to every coin.21 Reply- +1 y
As the good book says… words are like swords. We can all learn from that
I'm sure neither Smith nor Rock will get the punishment that they actually deserve. Both men are already filthy rich and middle-aged in a post Hollywood era and they've already cashed their checks. If Rock sues Will for assault and battery, Will and Jada could sue Rock for slandering Jada and causing her pain and suffering. Let this hot mess go.

What should have happened is that Will Smith should have walked up to the Podium and asked Chris Rock over the Microphone, "how does it feel to make fun of a person with a disease?" His “wife” has screwed him up completely along with the ungrateful friend of his son, August. But that doesn’t change things. We all know if a white guy did what Will Smith did he would be cancelled immediately. Smith needs to be permanently banned from the academy.

+1 yEven if will apologizes (which I accept) it tarnishes his image of being a civilized person (in my opinion). Someone makes a bad joke and his recourse was to use violence and profanity. It’s just not a civil way to deal with things period. The joke wasn’t even that offensive it was a super tame joke. Getting butthurt over nothing.

14 Reply- +1 y
Under a normal person I fully agree it is never too late! In this case I believe that his manager has demanded him to apologize.
- +1 y
And I don't doubt that was a factor. He probably did te Will this will cost his career. But his manager works for him. At the end of the deal Will had to swallow his pride. As I've said to others I think this whole thing was bravado to defend his wife. He originally laughed at the joke. I don't think he decided to react till he saw how she reacted. I think if he intended to hurt Chris he would've.
- +1 y
I think he may have been laughing at the previous joke or something said in the audience. He slapped him with a flat hand very 1800s proper. It was the wrong timing and wrong location. If he simply said, "please don't disrespect my wife" He would be a hero! Will did see his wifes reaction and did directly react to it! In the end they both screwed up in many many ways. The Rock was in shock but should have offered a quick apology. That would have gone a long way to saving his ass as well!
Had I been in Chris Rock’s position, Will Smith would have been on the wrong end of a lifetime of devotion to Shotokan karate.

@caitycat21 Actually I do well to a degree I'm losing hair as in male pattern baldness. It's not like Jada has cancer or something she's just losing hair millions of people lose hair. It's not something to slap someone over. She's a bitter lady can't even take a joke shame on her
- +1 y
@caitycat21 "“Violence isn’t the answer” never said it was. I just said Chris Rick deserved what he got"... um that's the same thing. Chris Rock received violence, so if you are saying he deserved that violence, then you are saying violence WAS the appropriate answer. Just because it's phrased differently doesn't mean it means different things. That's like saying "I didn't say physically abusing your kids was okay, I said it's okay to beat the shit out of them if they disobey you."
- +1 y
Finally an opinion I agree with
- +1 y
You'all agreeing that what happened was a form of violence. What really happened was Jada was cheating and has been with both without WILL accualy knowing much. Jada got angry at CHRIS then used Will to handle Chris. A triangle. Will got played twice by his wife. ... One fucked up woman. Both Chris and Will should have known that. Will needs to do to her what he did in her matrix of shit to Chris.
- +1 y
@zeitgeist057 I really don’t care about what celebrities do to each other. I just think what happened was satisfying to watch since as a black woman im tired of us constantly having to be the butt of the joke and no one defending us. I don’t think it really matters to explicitly denounce that “violence wasn’t the appropriate response”. Also comparing what happened with Chris rock and will smith to child abuse is actually insane
- +1 y
@caitycat21 I didn't say it was comparable to child abuse. You didn't understand what I wrote, obviously.
So you enjoyed watching the violence, as a black woman. Great. - +1 y
You didn’t say it but you were comparing the two as if they were equivalent
- +1 y
your brain is clearly fried if you think the last comment made any sense. It’s very embarrassing at your grown age you resort to racism because of a simple internet discussion about celebrities 🙄
- +1 y
@caitycat21 you’re stupid for thinking that violence is justified just because you’re a black woman. That’s retarded. The joke Chris Rock made wasn’t even about Jada being black or a woman it was about her lack of hair which is honestly no big deal and not worth slapping someone. She’s just a bitter unsmiling woman and Will Smith is coon who resorts to violence on national television. Slapping someone for a joke that tame is just overreaction and uncivilized.
@caitycat21 your views are very often not popular on this website I don’t know why you come back. - +1 y
Doopayo-dumb
You do realize your argument "black woman" is invalid as both parties involved in this incident were black. Black isn't the issue here, it's the lack of respect to people with serious conditions, and we need more people like will. This wasn't the first joke Chris made about jada alone, not to mention all the other inappropriate jokes chris had directed at other people with serious conditions. Someone had to put him in his place - +1 y
Chris is a comedian, for the ignorant people such as this person here, it means he makes fun of things, people, situations, in an exaggerated form to cause laughter, some can be more funny than others while some can seem dark but that’s what a comedian does. Saying he deserves to get physically abused because he is doing his job is absurd. Then adding that you are black to further justify your support for violence is ridiculous.
As I said, by your logic you are well desecante if a slap! 👋 💥 pow! POW! Lol sit down.
