@supercutebutt do you live in the US? Inflation and just pure greed and corruption has gotten out of control. It's almost impossible to get an education or a house without being in debt for the rest of your life and not to mention their cheap quality. There is no universal healthcare so if anything serious happens to you you are completely fucked if not in debt for the rest of your life again. Wages has stayed the same since the 1940s but everything else has gotten more expensive. There is absolutely zero public transportation so you can't survive without buying a car (which by the way was done on purposes by GM when they dismantled all the public transportation). And the police have military equipment and are constantly assaulting and harassing people if not out right killing them like what happened with George Floyd. Everyone and everything has become so polarized and racist and a majority of republicans do not believe in climate change and want to continue burning more and more oil. I mean it would be easier to list the few good things rather than the bad lmfao 😂

I generally like the American people I've met (the proportion of crazy/racist/both is higher than where I live, but I can at least shut those people out). A lot of Americans are really good people at heart.
Unfortunately there's just so much wrong it's more of a risk to travel there, for not much reward.
@Smoke-n-Growls I don't know i am starting to take a stance about the American people similar to my stance on police. If there is 1000 good cops and 3 bad cops and the 1000 good cops cover for the 3 bad cops you have 1003 bad cops! I know there are a lot of good American people with good hearts and good intentions but so long as they perpetuate and defend capitalism and all the faults and corruption and war crimes that america has done and continues to do its hard for me to see them as good people anymore.

I have been to the US once for work purposes and didn't even see any guns. They had some good meat houses though.
