No one jumped in with their own firearm to stop the shooters, so that argument is blatantly off the table.

Does it offend you when we talk about removing guns from the public after weeks of so many deaths? GOOD! There are families who are left with nothing now that their loved ones have been killed. And it wasn't just this one incident. The Philadelphia shooting was one of at least five across the nation involving four or more victims in a violent 27-hour span, including one that left three people dead and 11 injured in Chattanooga, Tennessee, another in which three people were killed at a graduation party in Socorro, Texas, and yet another that left a 14-year-old girl dead and eight people injured at a strip mall in Phoenix, Arizona, according to the Gun Violence Archive, a website that tracks shootings across the nation.

In total, nine people were killed and 38 injured in the five shootings.

Enough is enough is enough!!! Take away the guns!

Then take away the knives, and axes, and chain saws too. Hell, since the killing is going on, take away the vehicles - ALL of them because they kill at least 2X as many people in the US as guns do!

Before you go off on me about other countries having guns taken away, there are a few points I'll make.

1. Taking away guns - that's what Hitler, Stalin, Maduro (Venezuela), Pol Pot (Vietnam), and the winners of China and N. Korea have done. We see how well that's worked out for those people.

2. If you take away guns, you immediately allow criminals to keep them. Criminals do NOT follow laws, hence their name - criminal. Therefore, what can I use to protect myself against one of those idiots?

3. It's un-Constitutional! According to the US Constitution, citizens have a God-given RIGHT to defend themselves, including using guns, not a government given right. Also, this point applies to #2 above when the Gov't gets too big for their britches! I WANT the Gov't to fear me as a citizen!

4. I get your frustration about "doing something"! The problem is y'all wanna do something that's NOT going to prevent another shooting incident. If what you propose ACTUALLY stopped shooting incidents, I might consider... not necessarily agree.

5. This is like the 4th or 5th post you've presented - always with the "get rid of guns" routine. How about our Gov't leaders start by an example and remove their ARMED protection first?

6. Finally, when the Democrats start FOLLOWING and ENFORCING our laws, then perhaps the "need" for anyone to carry a gun will be reduced, like it was decades ago.

You have criminals walking 🚶‍♂️ out of stores with thousands of $$ worth of merchandise and the cops 👮‍♂️ are not allowed to stop them. You have DA's, that REFUSE to charge the criminals the cops arrest! You have whole masses across this country telling us - "defund the cops", then wonder why crime is spiking everywhere.

Lastly, we have the White House dementia patient who REFUSES to follow the US immigration laws (that he took an oath to follow) and lets millions of illegal aliens into the country including terrorists from Middle East Asia. Many have already raped and killed Americans who were previously deported. Seattle just reported this past week how they cannot investigate rape cases because of a lack of personal. Just how long do to think it'll take before rapists realize they're not getting caught in Seattle?
And you want ME to be UNABLE to stop those assholes when they show up in my life?

The answer isn't so simple as "enough is enough, take away the guns". Stupid leftist thinking like that will get us ALL killed.
