I’d laugh. There’s no law protecting people from being stood up on dates. If i was forced to appear, i’d hire the most expensive attorney i could find and counter sue for the cost of my defense, including lost wages. And i’d win.
I was born and raised in Michigan. There’s no way this flies there. I’m in California now, and it would have VERY slim chances here… for now. Ell oh ell!

I would never stand up a person in that manner but since we're going hypothetical...

I wouldn't show up for the court date, ever.

If I wound up in prison because of it I wouldn't see her either. Even if it meant an early release.

Only reason I wouldn’t show for a date is if something more important came up or if I suddenly had to stay late at work and only found out at the end of the day which does happen. Which if that was the case I’d call her and let her know.

which if she wants to sue me for that go for it your not gonna win. Judge will throw out a bullshit case like that.

I would glad I dodge that bullet and I would make sure that sue would come back and bite her in the ass. I would have no trouble draining her wallet in legal fees and letting her cover mine as well when she loses.

I would countersue for emotional distress and harassment for an amount at least equal to $10K, and I would add my court costs (lost time from work, cost for a lawyer) to that.

I just saw the video of this women trying to sue Mr. Richard Jordan. This women is off her fucking rocker and was also very rude to the judge ; she yells at him and argues with him.

At the same time this does not surprise me with a lot of modern women - entitled. I bet that guy who asked her our is kicking himself in the butt for asking her out.
