people want Nuclear plants , but when you say one within one mile of their home , they have a cow. Build it somewhere else

When they say we need more prisons , but not near my house

When they say throw the bums in House and Senate out , but not my Senator

Can you see why nothing gets better in America?

Or The National Debt is too high , but don't cut anything coming to me. This why America will collapse.

Because they are self centered

It's the "Not In My Backyard" reaction. People want something good to be done for the country as long as it doesn't hurt them personally. A power plant would probably reduce real estate value. So, you can build a power plant, but not in my backyard.

Everyone is self centered. The problem is that our so called leaders have a different set or rules for themselves. Why should i have to live with a nuclear power plant in my backyard when the rich can't even deal with 50 illegal aliens?

Why should you have a society next to a nuclear plant? I mean put that thing inside a mountain, so it is contained and you got waste handling on the spot. Now you have something that you can run in war times and other dark times.
