Why do people do this?

It’s crazy how as a kid, you stay home watching tv and play video games, nobody judges you. But you do the exact same as an adult, people start treating you like s*** and judging you! WHY

Due in large part to capitalism, the whole of western civilization is centered around creating mindless drones for the purpose of producing and providing, mostly men of course. What many people don’t understand is that this is the real reason that feminism succeeded. Now the capitalist pigs have twice as many workers making half as much money. They also sell twice as many homes, cars, beds, etc. A family needs one of everything. A divorced family needs at least two of everything. That’s not even accounting for mindless consumerism.
Look at the bright side. At least you CAN watch TV and play video games all day. In lesser developed nations, you don’t have that option. You work or you starve.

Well my husband doing that all the time in his free time. I never judge him, or ask him to stop to okay video game. I even watching him patiently sometimes, and support him. As long as his responsibility is doing good and handling everything and the game doesn’t bother anything outside that, why would that even bother me?

Because as an adult you are expected to have things going on in your life. Video games should be a hobby not and a way of living. If that's your lifestyle people will obviously see you as immature and childish.

Well, that depends on if you're handling your business or not. If you're paying your own way and not looking for handouts, play all the video games you want. If taxpayers are taking care of you, turn that shit off and go get a job.

I think it all depends on how much. If that’s all they do and they are glued to a screen in all their free time the kid might not be judged for it but the parents certainly are.
