Now, I abhor weed culture, marijuana, and "420 life" more than most people; I truly do. However, for better or for worse, there's nothing more American than being able to get intoxicated through substance abuse and go shootin'! I don't have to like marijuana, potheads, or stoners (and I really, truly don't), in order to support their freedom. That's like taking away every rapper's dream combo right there.

I mean, I personally say that if one is using any for of substance like alcohol or drugs in their free time they should not operate vehicles, machinery or firearms as that increases risk factors, not just for them, but my concern is about collateral damage.

They want to mess around somewhere secluded and the only risk is self injury that is one thing, otherwise I feel there should be repercussions. The bigger concern is taking away second amendment rights for something that really comes down to individuals and their behavior.

If we were to take their ability to carry guns away, it would realistically be no different from how felons have access and still use guns despite not being authorized to own one. So putting minor drugs like weed as a banner of guns would go over like a lead balloon and ignored. So weed, I don't think it is that extreme to keep guns from users.

No people who smoke MJ are stupid. Yeah their may be SOME as in actually a small percentage who actually don't lose brain cells and become stupid but they're many that are not to mention latest reports of MJ smokers going into psychosis & also getting Schizophrenia from smoking.

Which leads to mental illness. Also most people smoke due to depression & anxiety. So what does that say? It's also considered a gate way drug so again with all the stupid people on it, who knows what they'll dabble into next.

Marijuana does change your behavior and alter your chemical balance, though. It doesn't matter if they're opiates, amphetamines, sedatives really. So the people arguing against guns and weed, make perfect sense to me.

Yes, for the hemp industry. But that doesn't explain why it's illegal everywhere else outside the US, as well. Marijuana is a street drug and taking it recreationally is substance abuse. That's just a fact. I don't mind that people need to abuse substances to feel better about themselves just like they do when getting drunk or smoking tobacco, but I HATE the stupid and false argument that "marijuana isn't a drug and it isn't harmful for you."

Yeah, that's what I was saying. The hemp industry got pushed out of the market by competitors and so they made it illegal. However, that is ONLY in the US. That doesn't apply everywhere else in the world, where it is also illegal BECAUSE it is a narcotic.

Like I said, I personally think weed smokers are the lowest of the low and absolute f*cking losers, just like alcoholics, Oxycontin addicts, and Fentanyl losers like George Floyd. I don't respect them and making excuses for "getting high" is pathetic AF. But I'm not going to deny them the ability to abuse themselves anymore than alcoholics already do. I don't like any of those addicts, but allowing alcoholics to be legal and stoners not to be, is an unfair double standard.
