no way. i don't trust anyone, especially not strangers giving candy to children. when i do have children some day, i might take them trick or treating just so they can have fun dressing up, but when they're not looking i'm dumping all that damn candy in the trash and replacing it with candy i buy for them myself. i only trust things that i buy myself from the store. and even those things can be questionable sometimes.

Judging by everything that has been happening this is not surprising. I don't have children but if I did, they wouldn't go trick or treat. This is dangerous, you never know who is going to open the door or what are they going to do.

Not to mention that I hate Halloween.

We're dividing and conquering this year. My two older kids have parties to go to. Another is going around with his friends. My wife and daughter are going out and doing their thing. I stay home with the cat and hand out candy. So, we'll celebrate in that way.

My church sponsors a Trunk Or Treat event. People park their cars in the parking lot, decorate them, and use their open trunk for holding the goodies they give out. Then we invite the children from our neighborhood to come to the church for trunk or treat. Instead of going door-to-door they go car-to-car.

At my home, I NEVER have children come to the door for trick or treat.

If you mean, am I giving out candy this year. Yes, assuming I can get to the store and buy some. But, last year, I don't think I got ore than a dozen or so kids. I was giving out handfuls of candy just to get rid of it! And I got BIG hands!!
The year before that I only got ONE little girl!!
I'm used to it being like where I grew up, 4 miles from here where I'd get over 100 kids!!

Um, those boxes were presumably used as a disguise in an effort to SMUGGLE fentanyl, presumably for resale on the markets; not to prep it to be handed out at Halloween. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to spend that kind of money to just give it away.

He wanted to do trunk or treat but found out his costume is too little on him from last year and they don’t make a bigger version of the same one. Heck they screwed up the new design and he doesn’t want it so we’re going to stay home and watch It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown 🙂👍
