The San Francisco Bay area man arrested in the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband filled a blog a week before the incident with delusional thoughts, including that an invisible fairy attacked an acquaintance and sometimes appeared to him in the form of a bird, according to online writings under his name.
In another post on Oct. 24, four days before the attack on Pelosi, DePape shared images of a wooden birdhouse he said he had purchased for an invisible fairy he communicated with that had begun interfering with his life. “He appears in a form that makes sense in my reality because I can’t see fairies. He’ll do things to let me know it's him and he often appears as a bird,” he wrote.
Preventative mental health maintenance is ABSOLUTELY essential. Of course, you are the expert in this area. Would you agree that society has "normalized" more traditionally deviant behaviour, making "mental illness" more difficult to identify and treat?
I would LOVE to see a dedicated national campaign to help ALL men with basic mental health, provided by other MEN. Men need role models, social support, mutual accountability, and basic love and friendship. Men tend to soldier on until we come unglued and this is wrong.

There are crazy people all over the place these days. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a few of them,, Most are on drugs or crazy or both. They would never submit to mental health care.
